Falcon 9’s fleet leader booster completes its 34th launch and landing

SLS Artemis II (unofficial) web infographics: Parts 1 to 4 of a 16-part series (Parts 5 to 8 tomorrow). This is essentially my main infographic poster, broken down into multiple parts, suitable for PowerPoint presentations or printing at A3 size. Note, there may be updates as more mission details are revealed to the public.

I'm honestly SHOCKED at how the general public has NO IDEA Artemis II is taking humans out to the moon and will be the furthest humans have ever flown. Every non-space nerd I've talked to has no idea. WE GOTTA GET PEOPLE STOKED!!!! THESE FOUR HUMANS ARE FLYING TO THE MOON!!!

The latest #Artemis update makes something clear: we are no longer preparing for brief visits to the Moon, we are building the systems that will allow us to live and work there. This is an extraordinary moment. The shift toward sustained presence, repeatable missions and lunar infrastructure reflects a new phase of human activity beyond Earth. We’re not just going back. We’re beginning to stay. At For All Moonkind, we celebrate this progress. It represents the kind of long-term commitment that will shape not only what we do on the Moon, but how we do it. And as we take these next steps, it’s worth remembering something simple. We are not arriving on an untouched world. We are following in the footsteps — quite literally — of those who came before us. The Apollo sites, the artifacts, the bootprints are not just American history. They are human history. The good news is that we already have a foundation for protecting that history. The #ArtemisAccords recognize the importance of preserving outer space heritage, including these sites and artifacts. As we move from exploration to sustained presence, that commitment becomes more important, not less. Progress and preservation are not in tension. They go hand in hand. We can build the future on the Moon. And still protect the first steps that got us there. Thank you @NASAArtemis @NASAMoonBase @NASAAdmin! #ProtectTheBootprints #WeAreGoing nasa.gov/news-release/n…

This is how I became interested in space exploration history…

IT IS TIME GO to the movies. PROJECT HAIL MARY is in cinemas tonight. This is a very special film & I’m really proud of it. It’s a rare thing these days for a studio to make a big original non-franchise movie, so take advantage & see it on the biggest screen you can!
