@lancelachlan So you want another referendum? Nah thought not
English

@barrowman @odd_angry_shot @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk Nope we don’t 🥴🤦♂️
English

@odd_angry_shot @nimrodstweets @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk They seriously think they could bring down the government here 🥴🤦

Everyone is panicking about @RestoreBritain_ splitting @reformparty_uk vote and allowing Burnham to win.
The panic is misplaced.
The worst political outcome would be Restore stepping aside to allow Reform a victory.
With its current direction of travel, Reform offers the country no redemption. By stepping aside, Restore would concrete in Reform’s hopelessness.
Restore must fight this election and do the best it can. If it were to gain 7% of the vote, as predicted, that would send an earth quake through Reform.
Reform might then correct its ways.
A Burnham victory makes not a blind bit of difference to the country. Labour has a 156 seat majority. Whether Burnham or some other idiot from Labour becomes PM makes no difference.
And for those worried about an early general election - turkeys do not vote for Christmas. It is not happening.
Restore and Rebecca Shepherd must fight this by election tooth and nail.
I know @_AdvanceUK supporters are already in Makerfield campaigning on their behalf. I will help where I can.

@WholesomeRaf @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk I see your point (indeed it’s why I was so anti conservative at the last election) but don’t agree here. Actually I like Kemi but she won’t be able to act as so many MPs are leftwing, as are the party bigwigs. Reform has nowhere near the same problem.
English

@nimrodstweets @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk Reform is worse than Labour, because they’ll boil the frog slowly, while the latter can burn people into a reaction
It won’t make a difference in the long run if Reform wins elections
English

@zoep217 @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk I won’t. I’d be happy to post this in conservative forums. The libdems are on the left so not the same audience. Sadly a good number of conservative MPs would rather see Labour win than restore/reform. More worryingly many restore voters seem to prefer Labour to Reform too!
English

@nimrodstweets @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk Never forgive them 🤣
If the area votes Labour then they will win
I really hope you are posting this in Conservative and Lib dem too
English

@AYG_Andy @man_barge @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk Except they won’t get a restore candidate, or any representation at all. They’ll get Burnham, and we’ll all get a reinvigorated Labour who think they have a mandate. It’s reform or Labour - take your pick.
English

@nimrodstweets @man_barge @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk So people who are more aligned with Restore policies should ignore that and vote Reform, just to stop Labour? That isn't democracy. That is political gaslighting. People should be voting in line with what they thinking right for their views, not how others think they should. 1/2
English

@man_barge @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk I disagree with a lot of what they’re doing but no they’re not. And it doesn’t matter - if restore were in the lead I’d be telling reform supporters to stop being ridiculous. Both sides should be working together to stop the Labour project.
English

@nimrodstweets @benhabib6 @BackBrexitBen @RestoreBritain_ @reformparty_uk Reform are tories in disguise 🤬
English

@MatthewStadlen Democracy’s a bitch isn’t it. I think you should just choose the next PM for us.
English

@TheDesKelly Well when you get to France you can drive really fast and not get any points, so win some lose some!
English

@thelefttake You do realise that all migration isn’t the same? That’s why countries have conditions for visas.
English

@PolitlcsUK For the thousandth time this year, It’s not fucking free!!!!
English

@EverFurther @GaryHall29 @EdwardJDavey Exception not rule, and leaving the customs union was widely discussed during the Brexit vote run up. This conversation is in danger of going down the ‘they didn’t know what they voted for’ line - is that where you’re going next?
English

@EdwardJDavey Yes we did - it was well understood that leaving the EU encompassed leaving the customs union and the single market.
English

@EdwardJDavey We didn’t vote for that. Why don’t we just do away with voting at all and then you can just tell us all what’s best for us
English

@Lord_Steerforth @LukeDyks Yep. You can even see the strings!
English

More. International. Trains. Please.

English

@RestoreBritain_ And Labour way out in front. Now imagine if we could get reform and restore voters to work together behind one candidate, rather than taking each other out and giving it to Labour. I don’t really care which candidate!!
English

@kati71905 @RupertLowe10 @marcorobinson7 That would work if it were proportional representation but it’s first past the post. You’ll end up with hard left Labour winning despite the vast majority splitting their vote between two right wing parties. That isn’t ’right’.
English

@nimrodstweets @RupertLowe10 @marcorobinson7 It is not for any political party to stand down, the electorate need to be offered all options and to make that choice, that’s the right thing to do.
English

@EdmundProle @RupertLowe10 @marcorobinson7 The polls are tight. If reform and restore steal a few percent from the others candidate then Burnham / Labour wins a major victory and goes on to lead the country. This battle is the dumbest most egotistical party first move imaginable. Labour must be laughing their heads off.
