@vnwaneri Oh my friend glad you had the wisdom to calm her down. Always difficult when we have to play a different role in our parents lives. More grace 🙏🏽

My 90 year old mom has been diagnosed with Alzeimers. She used to be as sharp as the most articulate person. I just got a call from her and she was crying on the phone. Just emotional. So I had to speak to her, calm her and made her happy again. Wow, may old age be good to us🙏

In corporate language this would be called “change management”. The government is a vast organisation so it always needs to ensure more than enough people know about a new law. Let’s take AARTO (the law providing for driving demerits and suspension of licenses) for example.

Some thoughts on the implementation of the Basic Education Laws Amendment (BELA) Act because of the hectic grandstanding and misinformation. New laws take time to implement in full because of the preparation needed before implementation

It took me 5 years to realize... When an employee quits, the reason lies within the company culture. Not the job position. People don’t quit jobs. They actually quit because of… 👇

In life we meet sweet souls who are kind and caring and become part of the family care giving crew. I have been privileged to meet Drs who were salt of the earth and dedicated to their craft

Going through security at OR Tambo, the girls behind me took advantage of my lack of attention while putting away my laptop to steal my earbuds. Shout out to Maphosa ar @Airports_ZA security who pulled footage. Unfortunately, the thieves had boarded their flight.

Burnout isn't about hours worked. In fact, there are usually much deeper causes. Leaders should start to recognize when it's occurring, And take steps to help. Use this graphic to find causes of burnout in your organization.
