writing code is cheap. Almost $0 reviewing code and putting into production not cheap at all.

@tomhacks @leodev Would love to show you quickback.dev It's effectively a hono API builder with four layers of security built in. Define your schema and compile an API that's yours to keep.

@leodev Zero Sync > Convex to own your data layer For backend + Elysia / Hono for API layer (hook into middleware of tanstack) For testing + Vitest to own your tests + MSW to mock your network boundary

@leodev @shubhamJReacts Or.. would you be prepared to give quickback.dev a go? Quickback compiles TypeScript into production-ready APIs — secure by default, not by configuration. Runs wherever you want to run it. Zero lock in.

The suburbs are the future of AI. We have an INCREDIBLE group of folks coming to this AI meetup in Westfield, NJ This is the first in a series of events we're hosting for people in the area passionate about AI (builders, operators, tinkerers, and the genuinely curious). DM me for details, we are capping it at 50 people.

I want to get the most AI pilled folks in NJ for a meetup in Westfield. I have no idea how to source or find these people so please X do your thing!

This is exactly what we are building to enable with KramaAI. I have worked as a PM for internal teams at companies like Opendoor, Eventbrite, The Home Depot and the product is an outcome of those learnings. DM me to learn more, we can probably do this for 1/10th of the cost and get you results in 1 month vs 6 months with hiring someone

Starting to hire and retrain for new agent engineering roles for *internal* functions to help get more powerful agents working well on critical business processes. I expect this type of role to be a very big deal over time at Box and other companies. It looks something like an internal FDE, whose job it is to wire up internal systems and get agents working with them effectively. The person will be extremely technical and capable of building secure, governed agents for internal workflows that connect to business systems (like Box, Salesforce, Workday, etc.), and codify workflows in skills. In some cases this person may understand the business process well enough to do it fully, but in most cases I expect them to work with the business directly in an embedded fashion. Ironically, that may introduce another new role on the business side that is more akin to agent product management for internal processes. The key is that you need technical + process people that can span multiple teams or functions in an organization. It’s not about brining automation to a job, but bringing automation to a process. This is going to be a very big trend in most companies going forward. Fun to watch the early innings of what this will look like.

@DBredvick @levie Would love your feedback on what I'm building. APIs, with four layers of security built in, defined in Typescript.

@levie Agreed fully here, ROI is massive. I run a team that does exactly this. The models got good enough and internal app dev got cheap enough. I stole a few initial hires from our actual FDE team too.

@levie the skills-and-workflow codification piece is the hard part. 'wire up systems' is table stakes — the real engineering is making the agent's authority boundaries explicit and auditable before it touches production data.

Yes! This is exactly why I started quickback.dev. Every internal tool I ever built got stuck behind security reviews. So we made the secure path the only path - compile TypeScript, get a production API with four security layers built in. CISO-friendly, agent-friendly, ships fast.

Starting today, agents can now be Cloudflare customers. They can create a Cloudflare account, start a paid subscription, register a domain, and get back an API token to deploy code right away. cfl.re/4sY0Uxn
