Ex Labour. Join a “militant trade union”. Austerity is a political choice, not an economic necessity. Starmer has promised more of the same. #LabourIsDead

@BethRigby Nigel Farage doesn’t like to be questioned on his lies. He quickly folds under the slightest scrutiny. When he lost it and said : “you can listen, or we can jack it in”, You should have said: “I’ll take the latter”. Farage is the biggest bullshitter in politics.

@Keir_Starmer @CST_UK Ummm....That tweet is a joke, right? You are in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood and the IRGC....Words have shifted. Zionism is the new word for antisemitism. Anyone who uses that word, Zionist, hates Jews and is gaslighting everyone. Does Shabana use it???

The recent attacks targeting Jewish communities are appalling. We're working closely with the police, security services and CST to protect our Jewish communities, disrupt extremist threats and bring those responsible to justice. We must defeat the poison of antisemitism. The Britain that I want is a Britain where people can practice their religion, their faith, in safety and security.

Cat Little contradicts Robbins. Tells MPs that in her view the cabinet office did NOT suggest that Mandelson did not need vetting. She also says “it is my view due process was followed”. Says Robbins wouldn’t release summary doc from UK security vetting & had to get it direct

If Labour MPs were to move against Starmer after the May elections, they would likely be opening a Pandora’s Box of doom and dragging the party into an electoral death spiral.

This is another shameful decision. Brave security officers like Sean should be backed to the hilt when they confront shoplifters. The thief in question spat and swung at him. What was Sean supposed to do?! A loyal employee who worked for Morrisons for 29 years is now struggling to provide for his family. Morrisons have repaid his hard work by sacking him. Who on earth thought that was a fair or sensible decision?! It’s everything that’s wrong in our society right now. People who do the right thing are punished while those who cheat and cut corners are rewarded. I am calling on @Morrisons to do the right thing and hire back Sean immediately.

Israel is an ideal society judged by the things Walsh claims to care about -- it is religious, patriotic, manly, traditional, extraordinarily family-centric, and has the highest fertility rate in the western world. But I can't recall him ever saying a single thing about any of that. I wish Walsh would say what he really thinks, instead of pretending to need a fainting couch over a gay pride party 6,000 miles away.

@DPJHodges When did a prime minister ever answer questions at PMQs? It’s a bit of theatre, nothing more. You’re being naive.

And politicians. Important Kemi Badenoch (and The Speaker) don’t let Keir Starmer get away with refusing to answer the questions today.
Zoe Gardner@ZoeJardiniere

This is v good @SophyRidgeSky & an example for all journalists. Politicians always claim ignorance about the difficult issues they know perfectly well the interviews exist to get answers on - they should be called out for relying on deliberate ignorance.

I have listened to Sir Olly Robbins evidence for last hour and forty minutes and am seeing the very best of the civil service. I am left incredulous that the decision was made to fire him. Has there been a more egregious and shameful decision by a political master desperate to save his own skin?

@LBC People don’t realise, but Donald Trump is draining the UK swamp as well as the US swamp. Andrew, McSweeney, Mandelson, BBC, Steele, Branson, and soon Starmer. All drained!!

@slippyslappysw1 @TransOdius @Keir_Starmer So just as I thought, you don’t understand the definition. You seem just as ignorant on many other subjects. It’s no wonder you hide behind anonymity. The real point is, the UK isn’t going to get involved in a war started by the psychopath in the White House. Now fuck off.

@philsmith1878 @TransOdius @Keir_Starmer "A rhetorical question is a figure of speech phrased as a question but asked to make a point." The rhetorical question was: "What is the United Kingdom going to do one way or the other? Whinge?" The point being that the UK is a bunch of weak, irrelevant, whiners. Bye now. 😘

It’s good news that the Strait of Hormuz has now reopened. This must be a long lasting and workable solution, without tolls or restrictions on routes. Today we announced our joint plan with France and other international partners to protect freedom of navigation. We need to see a return to peace and stability, and a permanent ceasefire.
