Israel's problems are not India's problems. Israeli Govt has a tendency to globalize their problems.
Gideon Sa'ar | גדעון סער@gidonsaar

Spoke with my friend India's Minister of External Affairs @DrSJaishankar and briefed him on developments in our operation against the Iranian terror regime. I said that the regime is carrying out naval terrorism in the Strait of Hormuz. This is not an American or Israeli issue, it's a fundamental problem affecting world order and the global economy. If this grave phenomenon is not addressed now, it could spread worldwide. I also addressed the Iranian regime’s aggression toward other countries in the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Europe. I emphasized that the Iranian regime is acting madly. We value our special strategic partnership with India, the world's largest democracy. 🇮🇱🇮🇳

it's not a bad concept that moving fast is a form of intelligence and generates its own form of feedback from the market/reality, and that conventional therapy like introspection has quick diminishing returns. But obviously SOME introspection is necessary for anything system 2 related from algebra to coding, probably ai is keeping people stuck in system 1 which is a larger problem.

Dude crashed out, went to sleep, woke up, and went right back to crashing out. He's spending the whole day researching for clever-sounding comebacks, instead of listening to his own advice of not ruminating, just taking the L, and moving forward with being a 10x Marcus Aurelius engineer chad or whatever he sees himself as. I blame LLM oneshot psychosis. Garry Tan is showing the same symptoms...

Been MIA. Too much noise. PA isn't making much sense to me lately, so I’m waiting for the dust to settle. I honestly haven't been feeling the draw down thanks to $AMPX & $OSS - which is why it was a surprise to see the Fear & Greed index at "Extreme Fear" and the $NAYMO reading at -87.94. That kind of reading makes me think we should be buying, not selling, at least for the short term. I’m by no means an expert on the Iran/Israel/US conflict, but I’ve been watching some videos to form a thesis and make portfolio decisions. The most informative one I found is linked below - worth a listen. I believe we could see a relief rally soon, but I still think we’re heading for a test of the November lows next. The war is far more complex than the headlines suggest and in my opinion there's no fast or clean way to end it. Recent Portfolio Moves: - Sold my full $PALL position at $152ish a few days ago. - Sold some $TE and rotated into $OSS. If $OSS does as well on earnings as I expect, I'll likely rotate back into $TE. - Sold all remaining $AMPX call options. youtube.com/watch?v=xcXfcX…

@theralkia It's curious. Freud and Jung. Nietzsche and Wagner. How such incredibly intelligent, wise men, throw each other to the curb over such petty differences. All the while simping for women who have little to nothing in common with them. Falling head over heals. Brotherhood is dead

@gorilla_rape It's not the hottest women you have ever seen. Pornstars are generally dysgenic post-wall mids. The attractive women of everyday life and therefore of social media and dating apps create much higher standards than the ones that are, if anything, lowered in porn.

I was walking my brother through my holdings, and let me say - there's nothing like explaining a thesis out loud to remind yourself why you hold it. $OSS really stood out tonight. I've been on a mission to get him to invest in this one since I discovered it back in October. I remember being so excited back then that it was the first time I actually wanted to full-port a stock, even though I've always been a diversified investor. I didn't go through with it, but tonight I felt that exact same energy. I couldn't stop talking about it. I never lost conviction, but I did get entertained by another company I love that has been having exciting PA lately. BUT $OSS presents an opportunity right now - those 'sleeper' charts with bleh price action are the absolute best ones to get into before they wake up. The setup is too good. I know $OSS will be waking up soon. Adding to the position this week. 🤝📈

I spent many years in the Middle East and the vast majority of my students were female. The men are far more likely to have family permission to go abroad to study. I had the best of the best students left behind. That meant the girls. I had some students whose parents were so restrictive that they couldn't do much of anything. No going out without a chaperone. No books or TV unsupervised or maybe just no books for girls. No choosing your own husband. The extremely surprising thing was every time I had a student from a really restrictive family, they had one thing in common: the mom wasn't a local. She was an American or a Brit who had married into the culture and converted to Islam. She married in and became extremely submissive and then enforced the same on her daughters. She married a guy who told her "this is what the culture says" and she had no knowledge of it to know when he was saying bullshit. I never saw the same thing when both parents were locals. Instead I saw the opposite where mothers and grandmothers would go to bat for their daughters to give them the opportunities they never had. They would push back HARD. I saw a lot of fathers push for their daughters to have more opportunities. If he tried to say "this is what the culture says" then the mom would tell him no it's my culture too and it does not say that. I also saw this enforced with Western women who came to work in the Middle East. They would come to the conclusion that girls weren't allowed to do certain things because of the culture. The reality was that was their interpretation as an outsider and they were wrong; it has changed FAST. I never had a local tell me to cover my hair but I did have foreigners ask me why I wasn't covering my hair. A lot of women in the West have been incredibly terrible allies and blind to our own privileges. The feminist and women's organizations in the West have completely lost the plot to where they cannot even condemn terrorist committing rape or sex apartheid in Afghanistan. The moms in the Middle East have it right. What did I want my daughter to have that I didn't get to have?
