Indians quietly pay for every government failure from their own pockets. Dirty water? Buy an RO. No electricity? Buy an inverter. Polluted air? Buy an air purifier. No gas supply? Buy an induction stove. Bad schools? Pay for private education and tuition. Bad healthcare? Buy expensive insurance. Poor public transport? Buy a car. Bad roads, drainage and civic infrastructure? Buy a gated home. We don’t demand better public systems. We create private solutions for those who can afford them. And then it is celebrated as a “growing consumer economy.”

Frustrating!! 0 accountability! 5 weeks now…. Update…… BBMP want me to go in person with a letter and 3 photographs to the ward office!! Is this a joke? KEB cuts branches and leaves them Callously on the footpath 1. #BBMP - not our job - call BSWML 2. #BSWML - not our job - call #forest department 3 #forest dept - now our job - call BBMP Back to 1 Endless loop… But as someone said it’s only a footpath! Not some poor old man fighting for his pension or a death certificate! Life could have been worse!! #bengaluru @ICCCBengaluru @BBMPSWMSplComm @NammaKasa @ChristinMP_

When I see around or go out in public > I see most of the people driving bigger cars than me on road. > I see most of the people have bigger house than me. > I see most of the people are buying costly things which I can't even dare to touch But when I come home and check the number of people paying income tax, I find myself in top 0.5% of people paying income tax in India. Then who are those people with bigger car and home than me? They're certainly not just 0.5%. The biggest failure of this Govt is that they are not able to expand tax base to make people with black money or cash income pay income tax. All they know is over burden already heavily taxed salaried class which is hardly 1-2%.

You earn money and pay income tax and 100 other types of tax and in return > Govt can't provide you last mile connectivity through public transport, so you pay surge pricing for cabs. > Govt can't provide provide you safety, cleaning and uninterrupted electricity, so you have to pay heavy price for gated society and their maintenance. > Govt can't provide quality education in Govt school so you've to pay school fees higher than even Engineering fees > Govt can't provide quality Healthcare services so you have to pay for private hospitals bills costlier than 5 stars hotels. > Govt can't stop food adulteration, so you have to buy organic premium food at double price. > Govt can't provide its services on time so you have to keep chasing Sarkari babus to get our work done. And as if this list wasn't long already, now Govt can't provide you compatible petrol for your vehicle, so you've to buy pure petrol by paying 50% more price.

A better Bengaluru isn’t built by the government alone, it’s built together with its citizens. If you notice an abandoned vehicle in your neighbourhood, we request you to report it instantly through the BTP ASTraM app.

Minister @krishnabgowda The traffic in CBD has become a mess. Constables manage traffic manually and create jams. They override the Automated signals.they spent money in automation, AI but do this manually. Many vehicles do not obey signals but no police to catch them. Crossing road with green lights a hazard for walkers. Please help @CPBlr @Jointcptraffic @rk_misra @GBA_office @GBAChiefComm We need police to enforce rules but walkers are endangered. I see this every day as I walk to and from from office. @DgpKarnataka

Can someone please help clear and restore the footpaths near Nanda Theatre in 3rd Block, Jayanagar? The stretch has become a major civic nuisance. The footpaths are littered with garbage and construction debris, making them difficult and unsafe to use. At night, the area is often used for drinking and other activities that leave the surroundings damaged and dirty. This is a busy neighborhood, and the footpaths should be clean, safe, and accessible for everyone. I hope the concerned authorities can take prompt action to clean up the area and ensure it is maintained regularly.

BJP MLA Ravi Subramanya says, “Even if the government builds gold-plated roads, people will still dump garbage and keep them dirty.” An uncomfortable truth behind Bengaluru’s infrastructure debate governments can build roads, but they can’t stop people from littering, dumping waste or treating public spaces like dustbins. Citizens who complain the loudest are often the ones damaging civic infrastructure. Until public behaviour changes, no government alone can fix Bengaluru. #Bengaluru #CivicSense #Karnataka
