The Babus at railways and @IRCTCofficial have made it extremely difficult for citizens to get Tatkal tickets, especially during summer vacations. But the same will be available through agents easily. If any post goes viral, IRCTC would accept that for that specific day they faced an issue and will regret the inconvenience! But this is a daily problem that citizens face. Manish searched every coach. She was not there. Her phone was switched off. Her last known location had pinged near Laksar. A missing FIR was filed at Laksar Kotwali. GRP, RPF and local police have searched the tracks, nearby areas, hotels and hospitals. Five days have passed. She has not been found. When her family checked the CCTV cameras at Laksar railway station, most of them were not working. No footage of her movement exists. Her family confronted Laksar Station Superintendent K R Meena over this. There was no satisfactory answer. A Bank of India employee, sitting there in a red shirt, openly says — “We won’t do your work… do whatever you can.” This incident is from the Madhubani branch in Bihar. A young man went there to open a bank account. He has been living in Madhubani for the past 5 years, although his permanent home is in Darbhanga. As per rules, a landlord’s electricity bill from the place where you currently live can be used as valid address proof. The boy had carried exactly that… Yet, the bank staff refused straightaway — 👉 “Your account won’t be opened here. Go to Darbhanga.” The next day, when he returned with another person, the response suddenly changed — 👉 “The account will be opened, but not after 2 PM. That’s the rule.” Sensing something wrong, the young man immediately called customer care from there. And the truth came out — ❌ There is no such rule about 2 PM. When the customer care executive spoke to the bank employee, he blatantly lied — 👉 “He doesn’t have a local address proof.” Even though the young man was standing there holding the electricity bill. As soon as the call ended, the same arrogant tone returned — 👉 “Do whatever you want… we will not open your account.” This is not just negligence — it’s outright misconduct and abuse of power. Strict action must be taken against such employees. Otherwise, common people will continue to suffer, and trust in the system will keep eroding.

How is this acceptable, @airindia ? Two of us booked a direct flight from Delhi to Singapore scheduled for 3rd May at 00:40 AM. The tickets were booked nearly two months in advance. Today, immediately after completing web check-in, we received a message stating that the flight has been rescheduled to 4th May and is no longer a direct flight. When we contacted customer support, we were given only two options: either travel on 4th May (arriving at 18:30) or cancel and book afresh. If we travel on 4th May, we will miss our important bookings. If we cancel and book afresh, we will have to pay nearly four times the original fare. What makes this even more frustrating is that we can still see the same flight, along with other options around the same time, available on @makemytrip. However, we were told these cannot be offered to us because they fall under premium economy. This leaves us in an extremely difficult position. We have a clear requirement to reach Singapore on 3rd May – how exactly are we supposed to manage under these circumstances? @RamMNK
