@amaronofficial Brought battery for Activa 125 in November 24. Already replaced 2 batteries and last one was in May 2025. Again battery problem and has to be replaced. Honda service centre has checked the entire wiring and fault is with battery. RIP Amaron batteries.

@san_x_m CTC includes employer PF contribution, health insurance and variable pay like periodic bonus, etc. Basic may not change if the company has already excluded these elements and avoid additional cost to the company

From November 2025 India changed gratuity rules for millions of salaried employees. Most people do not know this yet. Here is what changed and how much more money you are now legally owed. Old rule. Your company calculated gratuity on basic salary only. They kept basic salary at 25 to 35 percent of your CTC deliberately to reduce what they owed you. New rule. Basic salary must be at least 50 percent of your CTC. This directly increases the base on which your gratuity is calculated. The formula stays the same. Gratuity = Last drawn basic salary x 15 divided by 26 x years of service. But because basic salary is now higher the final number is significantly bigger. Example. If your CTC is Rs 12 lakh and you have worked 7 years. Old basic salary Rs 3.5 lakh. Gratuity = Rs 2.02 lakh. New basic salary Rs 6 lakh. Gratuity = Rs 3.46 lakh. That is Rs 1.44 lakh more. Just because the rule changed. One more thing most people miss. If you are a fixed term employee and you have worked for at least 1 year you are now eligible for gratuity. Earlier you needed 5 years. Your employer knows this. They are counting on the fact that you do not. Follow for one thing every salaried Indian must know before it costs them money.

Over the last 11 years, the Modi-led Union Government has filled its coffers with ₹43 lakh crore through repeated hikes in petrol and diesel prices, collecting over ₹1,000 crore every day in taxes. This relentless increase has made life increasingly difficult for common people, yet the BJP government remains engrossed in power and silent about the hardships faced by citizens. Today at the KPCC office, I addressed the media in a joint press conference along with AICC General Secretary Shri @rssurjewala and Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @siddaramaiah to raise this serious issue. We are asking the Centre a simple question. Where is this money going? Despite such massive tax collection, people in our state are not even receiving an adequate supply of cooking gas. This only reflects the continued neglect of South India by the Union Government. Instead of responding to people’s distress, the Centre seems more interested in putting up its photographs at petrol pumps for publicity. During the UPA government, petrol was ₹71 and diesel was ₹56. Today, both have crossed the ₹100 mark. We urge the BJP-led Union Government to explain this sharp rise in fuel prices and why this burden continues to be placed on ordinary citizens.

Road diversion to Porur just before toll is always jammed and adds to the chaos. Relocating toll and installing q signal at the intersection will ease the traffic to a large extent and the residents staying in the nearby locality will be relieved

Today I have received LPG Cylinder ! LPG cylinder costs me ₹976 as ₹60 increased. I have offered ₹1,000 to Delivery person but he has no change, because he has only ₹500 Notes. I am wondering he is delivering 30-40 Cylinders a day means ₹25 per cylinder he is earning ₹1,000 a day. Monthly~ 30,000 + Salary 🤯

Problem arises when someone shows arrogance on the local language. You will loose nothing by respecting local language and trying to learn them

When i came from Delhi to Mumbai none asked me to speak Marathi, not in city not in village. They try to speak Hindi when they know i don't know Marathi.

Max German and French may be spoken in few adjoining countries to some extent. Question is when you are ready to learn European languages, why not Indian and that too classical languages?
