@heidfeldmafia Every set of reg changes I can remember has been to improve the racing (because a lot of the time it sucked) and to slow the cars down. I still remember all the 'purists' crying about grooved tyres, then it was "too much aero" then "cars too big. Some people are just never happy

@CSI_Starbase Great reactions (as you'd expect from an F1 driver) but probably saved himself from harm more so than Lawson. In these types of accidents, it's usually the car that hits from behind that are at risk more than the car getting hit

Call me old fashioned but if you watched the F1 season live, I don’t understand even turning on DTS. We all know it’s fake, manufactured drama designed to get us talking about the wrong things. Why give in to exactly what they want? Each to their own of course, but me personally I can’t bring myself to spend one or two whole evenings watching something I experienced for 12 months already.

Back in the day you never heard of any children with Autism, ADHD etc etc. Special Needs is now rife in our schools. What’s causing this? Something must be.

Dean I appreciate your passion but we lifted and coasted back in the fearsome 80’s turbo days. And pretty much constantly in Sportscar racing at Le Mans and suchlike. Sometimes regulations determine total fuel use, but in any case you never want to carry excess fuel through a race, it’s guaranteed to slow you down. Through the eras the great champions had to manage and protect engines, tyres, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension, driveshafts, fuel load, and now battery charge. It’s all part of the challenge, the best simply have a greater capacity to manage those challenges whilst carrying winning speed.

On 9/11/01 a student pilot flew 10ft off the ground in a 757 with precision unmatched even by a Blue Angel pilot to strike the Pentagon. But, that wasn’t the most impressive feat that day. He somehow - in flight - equipped the 757 with even more stealth technology than a B-2 Bomber, evading any camera detection from the thousands of buildings surrounding Arlington, VA and DC.
