The Reformers contradicted each other ROUTINELY—which means they WEREN’T led by the Spirit, Who can never contradict Himself. Sola Scriptura fails.

Theosis is synergistic, meaning we cooperate with God. Salvation calls for our cooperation with the Lord. It’s sad that he constantly makes posts like this and waters down faith constantly. God calls us to be obedient. While our works alone don’t save they do play an important part in our salvation. Praying you realize that truth someday.

Believing that your works play a part in getting you to heaven is to say that what Jesus did on the cross was not enough.

I converted to Catholicism last week. Here’s why the Pope’s woke encyclical is a disgrace.

I lost 70 followers for saying Nazi propaganda is anti christ. Not one was a verified follower. I think people do this to mess with accounts. They get their unverified accounts to mass unfollow to hurt sound accounts but I don’t care. If you think you can be a Nazi and a Christian please feel free to unfollow. The Jews, women, leftists are not your problem. You are your own worst problem.

Pelagius, is that you? 😂 Notice how you completely dodged the actual challenge: St Peter *explicitly* says the New Covenant promise is "for your children," but your banal theology forces you to exclude them until they pass a modern cognitive test. By arguing that the sign of washing away sin is "inappropriate" for infants, you either have to adopt the heresy that babies are born without original sin and don't need a Savior, or admit the New Covenant is more restrictive and less gracious than the Old. You boast that all your children are believers, so here is your bonus challenge: Did you wait until they proved it to raise them as part of God's household, or did you treat them as covenant children from day one? Don't dodge again.

Here are three topics that would be better for @emuse1955 and @LukeFHan to debate, rather than what they are currently going to do: 1. Should infants be baptized? 2. How should we understand the Lord's supper: Transubstantiation or memorial? 3. Godhead or the Trinity?

Sola Scriptura fails its own test. The false accusation of “not knowing what it means“ is because there’s a different version of that used when it’s being challenged versus when it being exercised as a doctrine. Catholics on the daily get asked by Protestant accounts “where is that in the Bible?” - and the conversation reveals quite a high standard, almost not allowing for anything to even be implicit. But when Catholics apply this standard to sola Scriptura… we watch the definition change before our eyes. But even the secondary definition either becomes incoherent, indiscernible from the Catholic position, or still fails its own test.

People keep attacking Sola Scriptura without knowing what it actually means. Bunch of unserious people
