Remember when the Obama FBI visited CIA chief David Petraeus and let him know they somehow knew he was having an affair?
But they also told him don't worry. They said they'd determined he didn't break any laws and they'd keep it quiet.
Then, a year later when Petraeus wasn't playing nicely with the Obama folks on the coverup regarding the Islamic terrorist nature of the Benghazi attacks, suddenly Petraeus is "outed" for his affair and forced out of office.
The timing is interesting, no?
It's almost as if power brokers in govt. collect files or "dirt" on important people, then let the people know the files or "dirt" exists to keep them in line.
Then, when and if those folks fall out of line, years old allegations and stories are leaked to the media.
And the media, as well as the target's former political allies, who would normally defend the target because of his political status... suddenly all demand resignations or whatnot and destroy the target.
It sounds like a movie plot, but we know this sort of thing happens.

It's primarily because the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact aligns with Democratic priorities: awarding EVs to the national popular vote winner, which they argue better reflects majority will and reduces "disenfranchisement" in safe blue states. All 19 jurisdictions that have passed it (now including VA's 13 EVs, totaling 222) are Dem-controlled legislatures/governors. Red states' lawmakers reject it, viewing the Electoral College as a constitutional safeguard for smaller/rural states against big-city dominance. No GOP-led state has enacted it.

8,334,319 registered voters in the state of Wisconsin as of today. Adult population: ~4,900,000. Don't let anyone fool you if they say "oh, those include Inactives". Those Inactives can be flipped to Active in two clicks, one person with access could flip 50,000 in seconds. AND, we have caught Inactives voting. All of those registrants can cast a ballot. It is a pool the bad actors source from to then stuff ballots in. They need a 1) name, 2) address, 3) voter ID and 4) be in the system. That is why the bad actors need to know the vote count as soon as they can (hint: connected to the internet). STOP voting early, STOP voting by mail. WATCH: I just joined Chicago Tonight to debate a new “millionaire’s tax” proposal floating around Springfield. It might sound appealing to some. But here’s the inconvenient truth. Illinois lost nearly 1 million taxpayers to other states on net over the last decade. We ranked 49th out of 50 states on this measure. The group leaving the fastest? People making over $200k (highest income bracket reported by the IRS). There’s also 22,000 Illinois small businesses earning $1M+ in pass-through income who would get whacked by this, killing jobs and investment that our state desperately needs (IL lost 1,700 jobs in 2025 while the US added 584,000). This is a bad idea at a bad time. We can’t afford to keep losing people and investment to other states. Thankfully, Illinois voters rejected a similar constitutional amendment in 2020. And the current proposal seems DOA at the Statehouse. Here’s the full debate.
