Last night, I voted YES to pass the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act! Rising construction costs, regulatory delays, and outdated zoning constraints are impacting housing costs and leaving the country short 5.5 million houses. This bill will pave the way for more affordable housing choices for families by: ✅ Removing unnecessary barriers and modernizing HUD programs so we can build more homes, faster. ✅Streamlining regulations on local banks so they can focus on financing home mortgages and construction loans. ✅ Lowering costs, expanding options, and improving veterans' access to housing assistance. ✅ Stopping massive corporations from buying up single-family homes.

Today, Aimee Bock, the ringleader behind the largest COVID-era fraud scheme in the nation, was sentenced to 500 months in prison. Stealing taxpayer dollars is a slap in the face to hardworking Minnesotans. Stealing hundreds of millions meant to feed hungry children is downright despicable. Great news for Minnesota! The EPA is delivering over $57 million to our state to replace aging lead service lines and protect our drinking water. This funding will help local communities identify lead pipes, plan removals, and upgrade infrastructure. They have also announced an additional $16 million to address PFAS contaminants in our drinking water. All Minnesotans deserve access to clean, safe drinking water. It was great to tour the Ag Processing Inc. facility in Dawson! It was a pleasure to meet with the team, tour the facility, and see firsthand how they are leading the way in soybean processing and biodiesel production.

I had the opportunity to participate in a hands-on demonstration on how students at Dawson-Boyd High School are learning about precision agriculture and the recent investments the school has made in its agribusiness classes. It’s always great to see the next generation so involved in their classes!

I am proud to stand with our law enforcement and vote for H. Con. Res. 96. After years of rhetoric that targeted our law enforcement and made our streets less safe, House Republicans are restoring the respect and support our officers deserve. By prioritizing law and order, we are seeing real change: - Homicides are down 21% across 35 major cities. - Overdose deaths have dropped to their lowest level since 2019. These results are a testament to what happens when we empower our police and peace officers.

8 months ago, the CBO released an analysis showing $4-6 billion in savings from HR 1346. The report they released yesterday, claiming this deficit, provided ZERO data for their analysis. ❌It failed to acknowledge that E10 infrastructure can dispense E15. ❌ It failed to include their assumed E15 expansion rate ❌It failed to include the volume of Small Refinery Exemptions (SREs) they expect to be granted. ❌It failed to disclose their expected Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Renewable Volume Obligation (RVO) levels CBO's budget analysis is incomplete and cannot be used to hold up this critical legislation. E15 is a win for farmers, families, and energy independence!
