I got challenged to show if I can do some pull ups. Proper hand grip, palms away. Palms facing are chin ups. I responded on the thread, but because I rocked 10 of these it deserves its own post.

It’s official. They’re fucking winging this. Yes this MEU was scheduled for an April deployment to INDOPACOM but it will take: - 22 days to get to the PG at max speed sustained (which means no port visits or stops) - 30 days to get there at average cruising speed. So clean up or backup for an unplanned amphibious campaign? No one knows. They’re winging it. At this point prepare for mobilization of the 82nd airborne, 75th Rangers, 10th Mountain and all the SOF in the world. Trump needs and offramp or this war will go on for the next year after he declares victory.

The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), comprised of the USS Boxer (LHD-4), USS Comstock (LSD-45), and the USS Portland (LPD-27) with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Group (MEU), is on its way to the Middle East after departing the U.S. west coast for deployment.

@shipwreckedcrew Risk events are scoped so they can be scored. I could then say that risk event has the highest likelihood (imminent) and highest severity but the risk event itself, and its highest score, is still only 1 input into a broader decision with many other inputs.

Whether Iran was an “imminent threat” or not depends on … How you define “imminent” and How you define “threat.”

@ItIsMikeFitz Oh, god, the thought of it. I detest AI content as it really is missing something. That'll probably change in the next 12 months and we'll have content-utopia till the machines rise up and kill us.

Spotting AI content 101: • lots of numbers have tildas in front ~ • use of 'biology' that feels a little off • em dashes • "That's not X. That's Y" or "It isn't X - it's Y" • long post that came in 3 minutes Yes, my reponse is parody.

I listened to the entire Joe Kent interview with Tucker Carlson and two things are clear. Joe Kent doesn't understand the Trump agenda in the Middle East. Joe Kent was fleeing the administration for reasons Tucker Carlson refused to ask him about.

@end3of6days9 I always paid them for their last 2 weeks, but for security reasons, could not have them coming in every day and be exposed to intellectual property. I feel that is fair. If a company chooses to let them go without paying for their last 2 weeks, that is a 💩 company…

It used to be companies respected the two-week notice—gave them time to train a replacement while you wrapped up gracefully. Now? Employee submits notice today → 'Thanks, but we're ending your employment immediately. We don't have to honor it.' Loyalty goes one way, apparently. Why bother anymore? 😡

@rf121rf @WeTheBrandon I bet RF121 is going to go a western route just to spite me! But, we both have to worry about underground mountain bases high up. Can the Air Force get most of them?

Only American citizens should be able to vote in American elections. It is the minimum requirement of self-government. A people that cannot say who belongs to the polity will not remain a polity for long. Pass the SAVE America Act.

Wait, people thought the crown Prince of Iran just showing up on social media one day out of the blue was what a coincidence? Hardly no one hears from this guy for like 47 years and then bam he is on all the social media feeds. There has been a plan for months. Will the plan be successful? Who knows, that's why we fight, but to think there hasn't been an exit strategy in the works long before the first bombs fell is just idiotic. And if you go a step further it's clear there are several exit plans not just this one. Which one works will depend entirely on the conditions in the country when the bombs stop falling. Stop listening to the media. They just make you stupid.

@WeTheBrandon I agree. The question is: is their goal Tehran or is their goal to hold the region around the Strait of Hormuz and the coast?

@rf121rf @unseen1_unseen I’m not disagreeing with you. You could be right and it also explains the Trump administration’s hesitancy. Hence the “we will see” comment.

@unseen1_unseen And Trump’s administration is being cagey about supporting him, which likely boosts his credibility.

No matter what political side of the aisle you're on, what ideologies or worldviews you align with, or what your past record is filled with when serving the country... Leaking classified information is illegal, and potentially dangerous for our country and those serving. This isn't controversial. It's the law, and a it's matter of National Security. If Joe Kent did indeed leak classified information to Tucker Carlson, or ANYONE ELSE for that matter, and it can be proven that he did so beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, he should face severe consequences for those actions.

@unseen1_unseen Great. We can blow shit up. One of these days we may try that diplomacy thing. All we have done here is piss more people off. Including allies. Being the school yard bully only works for so long. Ask all the former world powers.

@Osint613 When the endgame comes there’s an Airborne Brigade 5 hours away by C-17s that’s ready, willing, and able to turn the spigot off to China’s cheap oil. Op likely to run parallel with seizing the strait. Tripoli passed through the Straits of Malacca yesterday, so it’s 7 days out.
