So far this year Chicago has had 364 shootings and 90 homicides. Only 3% of the shootings have involved white people.








I see they revised it one more time to make it basically equal to last year, for what thats worth. A lot has changed in 20 years for better and for worse(referencing Bob's comparison to 2004-2006 and the 33K figure). There's more options than ever for people to have things to do and high school sports is often not the priority it once was. Changing populations, less emphasis on competition, etc. A lot of what i'm seeing out there--people want to blame D12 and the public/private battle, but we live in a vastly different world than a couple decades ago. Many factors at play. I don't know that simply changing venues or a bigger overhaul to boundary and non-boundary championships will fix it, either.


Republicans control all 3 branches of government. Democrats introduced 7 bills to fund TSA. Each one was blocked by Republicans.
