Did somebody call for North-South Rail Link diagrams?

Judging purely by their skylines, are these North America's big-three?

Excited for the public to review route options for @RIPTA_RI’s High-Capacity Transit (Metro Connector) project! Potential light rail or bus rapid transit linking Central Falls, Pawtucket, Providence, Cranston & Warwick! 🚆🚌⚓️ ripta.com/metroconnector/

@ryanbebb @UrbanCourtyard Nobody was talking about this typology ~2 years ago, now I see it gaining significant momentum. This one woman may actually change the architectural fabric of the entire country.

What are your thoughts on connecting Bradley Airport to Amtrak and the Hartford Line?

I'm not aware of a single instance where IZ mandates ushered in broad improvements in housing affordability, but I'm aware of loads of instances in which they crushed housing production. Blue cities/states need to take the evidence seriously and scrap these failed programs.

I am usually pro-labor but the LIRR strike is absurd they’re already the best paid agency in the country, with average total comp of over $200K, and now they’re refusing a 4% raise? This is a perfect example of why US transit is so inefficient!

This week, we met with an East Coast developer who wants to build courtyard blocks because they are tired of the standard multifamily product: expensive buildings organized around double-loaded corridors, with units that live like hotel rooms and do little to create affordable, dense, walkable neighborhoods for people at every stage of life.

The rent in Providence is too high and we need real solutions to bring down costs for families. And I understand why rent control sounds compelling, but the reality is that it has consistently been shown to hurt those it is meant to help. In Cambridge, in Berkeley, in Portland, in St. Paul and more, rents actually went up under rent control and new construction plummeted. My plan provides direct rent relief now and lowers costs long-term through continued new construction. I look forward to working with the City Council to continue addressing the root cause of our housing shortage and bring down costs for all our neighbors.

@ImproveMass 100%, it’s simple math that other places like Austin, TX have already figured out. More supply = lower prices.
