Gen. Moses Ali was born in 1939. World War 2 was just starting. At the time Uganda got Independence in 1962, he was 23 years old. When Amin overthrew Obote in 1971, Ali was 32 years old. Today, when he can hardly speak or walk anymore, he is still considered an ideal candidate to represent his people in Parliament - where he can hardly participate in anything anymore, even if he wanted. A big round of applause to his constituents. Arguably, he is still their best of the best. Oh, and he is Uganda’s Deputy Prime Minister - where he is not needed to do anything but occupy the position. Wait, he is only 5 years older than the President (officially). Give it to us 🍷

We just wish @itmsug & @MoWT_Uganda would make the number plate replacement process easier and cheaper (lower cost), there it won't be profitable for the thieves and maybe maybe the theft would stop. Otherwise @PoliceUg @CID1_UG haven't offered much help to Ugandans on this issue

It left me thinking that they are after increasing revenue thru reconnection fees They haven't read May yet but I won't be surprised if they do it again.

@mkainerugaba But why is it so difficult to track number plates thieves, the one using this number 0765583167 is currently terrorizing Mbarara and surroundings. They steal number plates, ask for ransom and keep asking for transport to bring them back. Something needs to be done

I congratulate the entire UPDF and ISO for competing in the first CDF's Interforces Drill Competitions. They demonstrated excellent skills. Parade drills are a miniature representation of the larger co-operation between different services, divisions, branches, formations and units that comprise the UPDF. @PoliceUg you need to do something about number plates theft, thieves even leave their number, now like this number is for a number plate thief 0765583167 @mtnug. @MoWT_Uganda, you can simplify and easen the replacement process. Otherwise, it seems the thieves are backed up.

Eeh @nwscug cutting off water supply for non payment in that very month is wild! Bill was read on 24th April with disconnection that very day, for not clearing it. Meanwhile, that's happening without any previous balances, is this a strategy to raise money from reconnection fee
