ಇಂದು ಮಹದೇವಪುರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮಾರತ್ತಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರ ಮಂಡಲ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಡಾ.ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ 135ನೇ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನತೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವಿರತವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಧೀಮಂತ ನಾಯಕ ಬಾಬಾ ಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
