The Pentagon and CENTCOM tracked those attacks, but they were mostly low-level rocket and drone strikes from Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria. A lot of them caused minor injuries or none at all. The media was heavily focused on the Gaza war at the time, and the administration didn’t highlight the numbers publicly, probably didn’t want to take the focus off Gaza. Admiral Cooper just laid out the full tally this week in Senate testimony. It’s classic: the public often hears about these things after the fact when someone testifies. So the focus was to be kept on Gaza by the media.

I feel terrible for some of these Uber drivers. This is why you can't get an Uber in hood. You get people that act like this and put this Uber driver though all this stress and drama. Credit to this Uber driver for not backing down. No surprise that immediately the threat of harm or car jacking comes into play. But the Uber driver was sharp enough to remind him that all of his personal information has already been shared with Uber when he opened his account. Getting that info to the police would be a snap. All of the claims of inappropriate conduct are false. I’ve never offered anyone money in exchange for their silence. I report all of my farm income, including cash, to the IRS. There are no ethics claims filed against me, nor have there ever been any claims filed against me in my 14 years in office. I have consulted legal counsel and we are considering all options.
