Weekly plans with a free trial start at just $7.40 on Day 0. Annual plans with a trial? $42.08. Looks like an easy win for annual, right? Fast forward 12 months: Weekly + trial: $54.50 (+637% growth) Annual + trial: $49.92 (+18.6% growth) The most overlooked and “risky” plan is the one that wins the year. Annual plans are a Day 0 sugar rush. They start high, but flatline. Weekly compounds. If you're evaluating your paywall based on Day 0 ARPU, you're optimizing for the wrong metric.
