KIPCHUMBA MURKOMEN, E.G.H
Tomorrow is a normal working and school day. However, police are in receipt of a notification by some citizens who would like to engage in a public demonstration. The Government respects the constitutional rights of all Kenyans to peaceably assemble for whatever reason, on any day, any time. Any individuals or groups seeking to exploit legitimate protests to cause chaos, engage in looting, destroy property, disrupt businesses, or commit any other criminal acts will, however, be dealt with decisively, and in accordance with the law.

Unfortunately, as South Africans we do not travel enough within Africa, and pay very little attention to life above the Limpopo river. It shows.

We have mumus pretending they don't know the nature of Kenyan politics. Factors such as ethnic affiliations, campaign resources, and grassroots mobilization often play a significant role in determining a candidate's success. It is not the responsibility of Wananchi to popularize a candidate. If a candidate lacks visibility and recognition among ordinary voters like mama mboga & boda boda riders, then that's a very WEAK candidate whose mandate is to spoil votes. Imagine wanting to become the president yet your own people don't recognize you. Hii ni Maajabu ya Musa.

@georgediano @comogolla Maraga is a weak candidate and all his followers know this. He cannot garner even 50,000 votes nationally. Mind you Wajackoyah only got 60k

Kenya loses an estimated 3 billion shillings daily to corruption. Driven by reckless borrowing, public debt has surged to nearly 13 trillion shillings, crippling private enterprise and consuming 48% of the FY 2026/27 budget for repayments. By securitizing future tax revenues, the regime is unconstitutionally mortgaging the future of Kenyan youth. We must halt this economic exploitation and restore financial accountability. #stateofthenation @UGMParty
