A policy that they can’t stop because they’ve sold Australia out as a pawn to globalisation. Immigration will continue to RAMP up to feed GDP. Not GDP per capita mind you, the people coming here are mostly leeching off us hard working Australians. And I don’t mean that by RACE. I mean that by attitude. They come here to leach. When I was at Google, I wasn’t afraid to make mistakes in production. The general consensus was: if a well intentioned engineer manages to bring the system down, then we better fix the damn system. The Delve founders should definitely be held accountable if this is true. But this really is bigger than them. They didn’t even try too hard to be sleazy, they just followed the Silicon Valley playbook. 1. Drop out of school as a status symbol, completely missing that correlation is not causation. Dropping out does not make you a genius. 2. Start a business with 0 mission (no 21yo dreams of compliance) 3. Fake it till you make it (hide human labor behind the grandeur of AI features) 4. Raise an obscene amount of money because you can and because those losers who stayed to finish their degrees will be jelly. This is the playbook. The biggest culprits are the ones who made it and uphold it. If you’re not allowed to drink before 21 but are allowed to raise 30m on a compliance idea with no due diligence from investors, then maybe something is really really wrong with the system.

Atlassian is still undervalued. Everyone thinks Jira and Confluence will get vibe-coded away. Instead, they'll build headless versions (API first, same product, no UI) for agents. Agents need standardized project management just like humans do. Stock is underperforming because people misunderstand what's happening.

BREAKING: Microsoft just announced several major changes to Windows 11 in an effort to win back user trust and evolve the platform into something people will actually want to use over macOS and Linux! It's a huge announcement that addresses Windows 11's biggest problems today, tackling core fundamental issues such as unreliable system performance, UX consistency, AI bloat and general enshittification. Microsoft has confirmed that this year, it WILL be reducing where ads and Copilot appear throughout the system, including in Start, Widgets, Notepad, Photos, and more! File Explorer and Windows Search will be upgraded with improved performance and capabilities that make finding apps and files much faster and easier. The OS will become lighter with less RAM and system utilization at idle, making it smoother to run on low end hardware with limited memory. These improvements will also benefit high-end PCs too. Windows Update will be improved with more granular controls and the ability to postpone updates for longer, along with reducing how often the OS needs to restart to install an update. Microsoft has also confirmed that it's bringing back fan favourite features such as the ability to move the Taskbar! It's also working to update more areas of the system shell with modern WinUI designs, which should make Windows 11 feel more coherent and complete.
