7 years ago I set out to show the value of exercise for young cancer patients. What started as a research study is now a fully implemented exercise programme across 5 locations. 89 young people, 11 siblings, 21 partners, 640 hours coached and 20 amazing volunteer coaches.

Northern Ireland Carers should not be at a further disadvantage. It is important that we recognise the role they play in caring for a loved one and that shouldn’t mean they receive less rights than a carer in GB.

The Carer's Leave Act comes into force in GB tomorrow, but those juggling caring and employment in NI will be left behind. We're urging @conormurphysf to go a step further and include paid carer's leave in the Employment Rights Bill. It makes moral, financial & economic sense.

For the last 3 weeks our MOVE Forward athletes have been competing in the @CrossFit Open and they have absolutely smashed it! Amazing efforts all around with great camaraderie + team spirit. Exercise is so important in life after cancer treatment. @YLvsCancer @TNLComFundNI
