Are people paying attention? Treating Alberta as an inferior province is driving them into the arms of the Americans. nationalpost.com/news/fully-in-…
Geoff Sinclair@sinclair_geoff

@paustin1211 @DanPlanetta @chriswarkentin What exactly do you expect to happen to Quebec and Ontario if Alberta and Saskatchewan vote to secede and ask help from the US? It's ironic that by bullying Alberta, you have given all the cards to the Americans to cut off your oil.

@maddie9556 @CityNewsVAN You do know that people are so entitled that don't move over at all, or purposely get in the way. That is what this is about. not someone trying to get out of the way and just taking some time.

@CityNewsVAN Increasing fines for not moving for sirens fast enough, will make people panic when they hear one. It could keep drivers more tense and reactive and they could throw themselves in any lane out of panic and kill someone.

@jessecmccormick You did this. You benefit from this. Housing first denies the reality of why people are unhoused. Homelessness is a symptom of addictions and mental illness. You deny this, yet you know this. You profit politically from the destruction.

Filming people who lack homes without their consent for crass political self-interest and then loudly claiming to be the victim when someone intervenes is not courageous truth telling.

Far right? He is right. Sean on the other hand is alt-left. Facts disturb Sean. He uses ideological defences to hide facts. "Denialism" as an excuse to deny facts. Facts and reality don't matter to Sean. All that matters to him is his alt-left ideology.
Sean Carleton@SeanCarleton

Don't get it twisted: far-right influencer turned MP, Aaron Gunn, is defending residential school denialism here. Widdowson, Shepherd, Brodie, and Gunn have all made their views on Indigenous Peoples and residential schools abundantly clear: canadiandimension.com/articles/view/…

@jen_jones77288 The irony of many of the main participants lying and pretending were white Americans colonizing indigenous issues.

@IndigPoli Well, if non-indigenous “toughen up” as you say, that promotes division. It cancels reconciliation.

It cannot be the case that the projects that get prioritized in Canada are those where a Premier threatens to leave the country. Next week, I’ll be meeting with the Prime Minister to bring him a list of projects we can work on for the benefit of all Canadians.

NEW - @Dave_Eby on Alberta-Ottawa carbon pricing today. “As a country, it's time to stop rewarding bad behaviour.  “It cannot be the case that the projects that get prioritized in Canada are those where a Premier threatens to leave the country.”

The CBC’s decision to involve itself in the taxpayer-funded prank is not journalism, nor is it comedy. It is a deliberate and deeply troubling misuse of public resources to target and shame Canadian citizens who have simply insisted on evidence before accepting an extraordinary claim as established fact.
Juno News@junonewscom

Conservative MP Rachael Thomas penned an open letter to President and CEO of the CBC, Marie-Philippe Bouchard, calling out the state broadcaster for its recent media sting of public commentators, calling it “incredibly offensive and unethical.” junonews.com/p/opposition-c…

To the team @WeBuildBC Bill M233 was nothing less than an attack on our commitment to protect good-paying jobs in B.C. It was a no-brainer to stand-up against it. We will always stand with our workers and those who represent them. #bcpoli #cdnpoli #tradesbc #bcforests

Today, I sent a letter to the CBC Ombudsman demanding an explanation and accountability for the use of taxpayer money to mislead, deceive and lie to Canadian citizens, including Members of Parliament, in attempts to trick them into participating in a fake documentary smearing the reputation of Canada's first prime minister. I look forward to her response.
