Gave ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude a task to find me some papers with pretty specific instructions of what I cared about. Grok was by a decent margin better at this task. ChatGPT and Claude gave me ML heavy papers, some on areas of the literature I said to avoid. ChatGPT gave me 4 papers when I asked for 10.
