Used customers money for 5-6 months earned interest and now use those to buy new aircraft start new route. Have some shame

@DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI My flight was canceled on 5th December within the period of 24 hours. But it’s not present in the list of indigo. I am really surprised to see such a fraud list. Also compensation request was raised long back but till now no update for the same as per dgca rule

@IndiGo6E This is done long back no response as usual. Also fyi if you have applied for dgca compensation your system does not allow to apply for gesture of care. Every where you are publishing it’s above the compensation.

@_haroldfinch @IndiGo6E Exactly dgca compensation is supposed to be in cash for cancellation within 24 hours but indigo is playing a game of voucher in that case also. Is it allowed @DGCAIndia ? #indigohypocricy

• Please confirm DGCA cash compensation - why is Indigo offering vouchers instead?
• Why was I advised to accept the voucher as compensation?
• Is the ₹10,000 Gesture of Care payable in addition to DGCA compensation?
• I have round trip BLR–CCU disruptions (3rd & 4th): Would I get multiple Gestures of Care or just 1?

@babubasu Frankly speaking with indigo fiasco I realised this is also only present in paper. In the portal I have raised the request for compensation many times for my canceled flight of indigo no action has been taken and tickets are closed abruptly. @IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia

@IndiGo6E My flight was canceled within 24 hours period on 5th December. Had to pay huge amount of money for 3 tickets. Airsewa portal suggested to raise the same in neft link for indigo which is always giving error. But post that no response from you guys.

@IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia It’s been more than 24 hours post I shared all the details with you guys no action taken till now from indigo. No compensation for the torture we had to ho through for 3 consecutive days and paid a hefty amount for booking another air India flight

@srijanpalsingh Another interesting fraud act run by @IndiGo6E is the whole fiasco of compensation. They are not ready to pay @DGCAIndia compensation amount also to customers. Just interested to distribute vouchers for future travel which I really doubt anyone will ever use.

Update 2: 749 refunded back
This completes the refund, shouldn't have taken a chain of tweets to do this but nevertheless thanks for this to VP MMT who handled this.
But this should not end things and you need to look into the other people who have commented about their cases which are similar. They have suffered enough already.
Some cases also point @Cleartrip and @GoibiboSupport
They too should ensure that the customers are not fleeced during a time of crisis and refunds are made in full. Most of us ended up rebooking the cancelled with the full convenience fee paid.
To others who came here...
Please keep voicing your cases and concerns...would be happy to play whatever role I can to amplify your case and help you get back your refund which you truly deserve.

The biggest winner in the ongoing #Indigo crisis is @makemytrip
It first made us book indigo flights.. charged "convenience fee". Then retained their fee when tickets were cancelled by Indigo. 700 rupees made on every ticket! Indigo cancelled some 900 crore worth ticket and MMT ciphoned 80 crore plus in this scheme.
