@willchamberlain Anecdote: Uncle is a very conservative Baptist pastor, voracious Fox News consumer, & watched Tucker daily on Fox. I told him about Tucker's comment on Christians & Israel, & he thought I was joking. He's a nominal Tucker fan from the Fox days, & he had NO IDEA. No longer a fan.

Candace to Erika: “you just got lucky and there Charlie was at the airport in Israel. And you saw him. And your mom said ‘go up to him.’ Because your mom’s a pusher. I always thought it was so strange how you never mentioned that I was at the airport with Charlie. You never said, ‘I saw Charlie with Candace.’ Because we were actually together on that trip.” Ok I’ve never been more convinced this woman was in love with Charlie. I can assure you that if another woman met the man she was going to marry while that man was on a business trip with me, and then proceeded to cut me out of their meeting story, I would feel absolutely nothing. This isn’t a thing women care about. Unless they’re in love. The fact that Charlie was on a platonic trip with Candace when Erika met him is irrelevant to both Charlie and Erika. What matters is that they met and fell in love and married. Everyone around becomes tertiary—especially when that person didn’t set you guys up or anything.

I’m genuinely baffled by this take. I know Matt is a professional contrarian, but this take basically admits massive ignorance of the conservative movement and foreign policy going back to Carter. It’s like being stunned conservatives are happy with Roe v Wade getting overturned.

I can't take the gaslighting, guys. I really can't. Conservatives are now running around saying "Iran has been waging war on us for 47 years." Okay then why didn't any of you call for an attack on Iran at any point until now? Why didn't you make a case for Trump "ending the war, not starting it" until precisely the moment when Trump did it? You and I both know that you are latching onto a talking point you never used until 45 seconds ago. You and I both know that almost every conservative influencer in the business was opposed to war with Iran until just now. And now you're trying to use justifications that stretch back decades. It doesn't make any sense. If you changed your mind, fine. Say so. Explain why. You're allowed to change your mind. I've changed my mind about things. But don't try to rewrite history. Be honest about it. There's too much at stake to play these games.

@BellikOzan People saying it's a trap - it's only a setup for ppl dumb enough to take the bait (and they did). If you're a Dem, why not stand & applaud? Then when asked, say how YOUR version of immigration reform is so much better. Instesd they sat & confirmed every accusation against them.

@TheJacobTurner @SouthwestAir Used to fly Southwest essentially EXCLUSIVELY. If SWA flew to a destination, I booked SWA. Loved everything that set them apart. Now that they're just another value carrier, there's no reason to fly SWA anymore. I just price shop since they're now the same as everyone else 😞

Hi @SouthwestAir I have flown your airline almost exclusively for the last 5 years. It has been great. Friendly People Good Accommodations A List Benefits to keep coming back Today I flew on your new policy. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. I get it, this is a big change and I’m sure it will get better but I guess my question is why should I fly Southwest at all moving forward? You all are way smarter than me so I’m sure I’m missing how this benefits customers. There used to be a clear differentiator between your offering and everyone else. Checked Bag Fees Same Day Change Loyalty Benefits That Mattered All of that has either gone away or is just simply pay for play. Anyways just my✌️cents of a customer who has flown your airline a lot the past few years.

@peterrhague Perhaps give MATE a try? Ubuntu MATE is an easy way to get into it. It kept the Gnome 2 design instead of the radical departure that was Gnome 3. LXQt is another option - very lightweight. That said, if you're going for looks, KDE has always looked beautiful in my book.

@SCShipyards What's so depressing is that they set up Star Trek: Legacy so perfectly - the crew at the end of S3 with the occasional 90s Trek cameo thrown in every now and again, and then COMPLETELY DISCARDED the idea in favor of the conveyor belt of garbage they keep putting out now.

@SCShipyards S3 of Picard was EPIC! My dad and sister love 90s Trek, and I had them watch JUST season 3 - both LOVED IT! Anything else modern Trek doesn't hold the interest of any of us. Not sure why Paramount can't see this despite the fanbase decrying this for YEARS 😒

Probable cause is all that's needed for the arrest, and what's available today is MORE THAN ENOUGH for that. Develop the case but AFTER the arrest!

This does feel like a monumental betrayal. People protested and sacrificed their lives (likely 12k-20k) because they thought the US had their backs. Unless this changes, it's incredibly disappointing.

@josh_hammer Both fell from huge highs to where they are now. Neither of them are likely making near what they were when they were on TV, so if someone (like Qatar) comes to them and offers them mega-$$$ to push certain messages, it's their chance to get back close to that income level.

Yesterday, two 50-something ex-cable news stars in the midst of a midlife crisis had a chat. It ranged from the merely petty to the outright loathsome. The single cringiest part? Two people old enough to be Charlie Kirk's parents, and who continue to call themselves "friends" of Charlie's, tripping over themselves to sing the praises of Nick Fuentes—Charlie's lifelong arch-foe. Grandma Groyper called him "absorbing" and "brilliant," as the Islamism apologist who all but fellated Fuentes on his show nodded along in violent agreement. Shortly before he died, Charlie excoriated @DineshDSouza for even debating Fuentes—let alone fluffing and sanitizing him. Charlie felt Dinesh was "elevating" such a fetid waste of oxygen. In his texts to Dinesh, Charlie called Fuentes "vermin"—a far cry from "absorbing" or "brilliant". Grandma Groyper and the Doha mouthpiece for whom she now shills are a disgrace to their profession, and an ever bigger disgrace to their slain purported "friend".
