Congestion pricing makes life worse for people who paying $9 matters to. It makes life easier for people like me who don’t care about $9 and can get around more quickly. There’s no free lunch and in blue cities it’s almost always normal people that get screwed.

A few months ago my “best friend” of nearly 30 years decided we can’t be friends because I didn’t mourn Renee Good. She claimed we had “moral differences”. Prior to that, we obviously knew we had differences in politics but just didn’t discuss politics. She ended our last conversation saying she was going to talk to her therapist and I never heard from her again. It’s her birthday today. I want to tell her I love her (even if our politics aren’t the same), I want to wish her happy birthday, I want to catch up on what’s been going on in our lives. But I can’t do that because of a crazy lady who tried to run over an ICE agent with a smile on her face and I apparently needed to side with her to be morally just. The left has taken so many people from me. I may swallow my pride and text her happy birthday, but I also feel like she really crossed boundaries and maybe our book is finally just closed for good.

Because Senate Democrats didn’t end up accepting the Republican offer on DHS funding & negotiations fell apart yesterday, Dems will get *zero* of the ICE reforms they had been demanding, including ones that GOP had already agreed to, like showing ID, increased Congressional oversight, agreements to not hit sensitive locations, etc. These reforms were the reason Dems started the shutdown in the first place, and now instead of getting a few concessions on their demand list, they get none. The only thing they secured was no funding for CBP & ICE, which are largely already funded via the OBBB, and Republicans will seek to fund them even further without Dem votes in reconciliation instead. As for the Dem’s demand list on ICE reforms? “That ship has sailed,” Sen. Majority Leader John Thune said this morning. “They kissed that opportunity goodbye by failing to provide funding for those agencies.”

@AsaHutchinson And he destroyed our nation by moving forward with an investigation he knew was a hoax. He deprived voters like myself the opportunity to have our-duly elected president do his job. That should be his legacy.

I worked with Bob Mueller while I was in Bush administration. He was a Marine, former United States Attorney and Director of FBI. After 9-11 he transformed the FBI to focus on terrorism threats. He was a true public servant and he always had my respect.

I still remember when presidents had to be dignified, show some decorum, especially in the wake of a human being's death. Now there is no bottom, no leadership or humanity at the top.

Maybe. But even more sickening was Mueller using the power of the court to destroy our country. Mueller knew quickly that the Russian collusion investigation was a hoax. Yet he allowed it to continue, separating families. He attempted to destroy the Trump family. We don’t care how you feel.

Just sickening.

Or how about we don’t care how Trump feels. Mueller tried to destroy Trump and his family based on a hoax. Trump hates him and is glad he’s not alive to hurt others like he hurt Trump’s loved ones. We don’t need to say anything because we also know the destruction Mueller did to this country. He destroyed this nation by dividing us. Trump is just being honest.

Can someone tell the MAGA influencers they don't have to defend this. It's okay to just sit this one out.

TSA workers are going without pay while members of Congress are still getting paychecks. However, Republicans control the senate, this is on them. The government is shutdown because Senate Republicans refuse to compromise on ICE.

The Left has known all about Cesar Chavez' proclivities as a pedophile rapist for decades. They did not care. But now they care because he was also against illegal immigration and considered illegal aliens to be "scabs" who stole farm jobs from legal Americans. I want to correct something I said last night. The bombs thrown in New York City over the weekend by ISIS inspired attackers was thrown into a crowd of anti-Muslim protestors and not specifically targeted at Mayor Mamdani. That wording was inaccurate and I didn’t catch it ahead of time. I apologize for the error.

I prefer BUZZR over GSN (Game Show Network) . . . because I like watching old time celebrities get drunk on Match Game or shows that weren't as scripted as the seem nowadays. Worse scripted game show is Family Feud w/Steve Harvey, that really isn't family friendly. I'm a 57 year old curmudgeon. ;)
