Trump has announced in a post on Truth Social, that after speaking with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum he has agreed to a one-month delay on tariffs for all goods covered under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which includes most if not all Mexican imports into the United States. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has stated that a one-month delay for the tariffs on Canada is likely to also be announced soon.
