@JackOtter @Uber @Uber_Support drivers cancel because uber sends the driver to the pickup location too early and wants them to wait for free so in the mean time they have lyft on and get a better immediate ride and cancel the uber one.

Hey @uber: If you are going to give users the ability to reserve cars ahead of time, you have to solve for last-second driver cancellations. My airport ride cancelled at pickup time, and it took 33 minutes for me to get another ride. That is terrible service. @Uber_Support

Not exactly. SpaceX requires that there be no annoying “portal” to use Starlink. Starlink WiFi must just work effortlessly every time, as though you were at home. Delta wanted to make it painful, difficult and expensive for their customers. Hard to see how that is a winning strategy.

and some of these brands are overpaying for sites too. Chipolte paid over 1 million for a standalone lot across from Mcdonalds here. It was previously a small gas station and was vacant for over 6 years as the property owner wanted way too much money for this market, but after 6+ years found chipolte willing to pay close to his price. Their buildout is 1.2 million so they into it for right around 2.5.

Unfortunately, this is my worst fear, and it’s happening massively across the nation at an alarming rate.
My weakest competitors occupy some great sites. Now that they are closing, it brings in a hot new concept.
I love when weak competitors are my neighbors. I don’t want them to close.

Not surprised. I had a flight out of Orlando, & it was cheaper to rent a car for one way. Not only that, if you have knives or firearms in your checked baggage, you can't bring them, even if they meet TSA requirements. They even took my checked Gerber multi-tool. Not impressed.

I bought a Mac Book Pro that arrived today, and the computer inside had been swapped out along the way - it's a different model, different serial numbers, is used, and so on
Yet I have been on the phone with Amazon for 2 hours getting a constant run around as various people claim they can't help me because the computer (that I don't have!) has an active Apple ID so they can't accept the refund
I have filed a police report already for the fraud, but it seems impossible to get any help

@MobofJoggers In Florida they can't give you a ticket if a vehicle is self driving, even with a person in the driver seat for safety. Not all sheriff's know the somewhat vague law but I've gotten out of it everytime by saying it and showing was in self drive.

Okay - why do Canadians @McDonalds get this cool four-egg stainless steel transfer tool? I know it's probably only cool to some restaurant folks, but we have to crack every egg into a ring on the grill. You better be a master and not get any shells because it's hard to pick up as they are cooking. This tool would definitely be nice to have.

Accounts have a yearly and lifetime refund cap now because of all the fraudulent refund requests. Get a refund from your bank and they will block your account from future orders which is a good thing

I have spent two hours talking to customer support from @DoorDash trying to get a refund for hundreds of dollars in fraudulent grocery orders in another state. They have just explained that they will not refund the stolen money but have not explained why.
