@Jeremy3FL @LeadingReport The only way this would work is if they did 50 year mortgages with half (or a little more) the interest rates of the range is now. So if the normal interest rate now is 5%, this would only work if the interest rate went to 1.5% - 2% for the same loan, just longer.

@LeadingReport So, basically the result of this will be majority of people will end up paying significantly more in interest over the longer term, never actually own their house. Pass away before the mortgage ends in 50 years,& then the bank owns it and re sells it to another 50 year mortgage.
