Other States automatically update your voter registration when you update your name through the DMV, unless you decline the update. And your passport worked, which I'D you as US citizen. So it will not happen in droves.

"I got married joust before the last election. Made sure I got a new license but didn’t remember to change voter registration to new last name. Went to vote using my new last name that matched my drivers license. Was turned away in WI because my name did not match voter registration. I pulled out other documentation that had my former last name on it but was denied voting. I marched home and dug out my passport out that still had my maiden name and shoved it with glee into the face of the snarky poll officer who initially looked pleased he had denied my vote. He had no choice at that point but to let me vote. This is what will happen in droves if this new act becomes law. People have better things to do than go vote 10x. Just another way to suppress voting."

I am told his staff worked through the weekend identifying who/where cuts would happen first. The President's men are going to take full advantage of the opportunity to save the American people massive amounts of money by terminating otherwise untouchable bureaucrats from the government. Furthermore, there are many programs that will be put on hold during the shutdown that the administration currently doesn't have the ability to make changes to. However, if a shutdown occurs, once the shutdown ends, the President's staff has full decision making over staffing of essential employees for those programs once business resumes. The situation was described to me as a "bloodbath for the bureaucracy."

This woman, who said vile things about Charlie Kirk's assassination, is also involved in DEI at the school. As a Public Participant during the October 15, 2024 Newtown School Board Meeting, Lozer expressed her "deep concern about the potential dissolution of the DEI subcommittee because much remains to be done." She is also an Executive Board Member of the DEI-focused "Newtown Allies for Change" (@NewtownAllies), which has all sorts of influence in Newtown and has gotten people fired and harassed with false claims of "racism" and other complaints. After Newtown suffered the horrific Sandy Hook Massacre Mass Shooting Tragedy that resulted in 20 children and six adults being slaughtered by Adam Lanza, is someone who mocks and is happy about the assassination of a peaceful political advocate, really someone who should be providing "Behavioral Therapist" services to Connecticut Children @GovNedLamont @EDSecMcMahon @CTDMHAS? We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.” His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.” We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
