Typed the same two lines of "The Ring Verse" (while fighting autocorrect) on Windows 11.
Notepad.exe hit 650k events (allocs/frees), ~72MB.
The text I used has roughly 145 characters.

Anyone else seeing that this hasn't been patched yet? Same for [clickme](file://live.sysinternals.com\tools\procmon.exe). Notepad.exe still at version 11.2510.14.0 for me.

@steventseeley @b1ack0wl I mean, [clickme](C:\path-to-blah.exe) launches without a confirmation dialog (URI's pop up a dialog), advisory says that it is link related so might be something like this that is patched... but the real question should be... WHEN DID NOTEPAD GET MD RENDERING!!??!! 🤣🤣🤣

@konradbezwinger @etguenni Für den Fall, dass jemand nicht den FRITZ!Box-DNS nutzt und fritz.box nicht auf die FRITZ!Box-IP auflöst: Durch das halten der Domain durch AVM wird verhindert, dass dort Malware oder Phishing-Inhalte gehostet werden.
Viele nutzen heute im Browser DoH nicht über FB

@etguenni Inwiefern ist denn relevant wie eine Domain öffentlich auflöst, wenn sie doch eh nur dafür gedacht ist in einem lokalen Netz, in dem wahrscheinlich die fritz box selber für DNS zuständig ist, Zugang auf die Benutzeroberfläche der besagten fritz box zu ermöglichen?

Die Domain fritz.box ist heute (22.1.2026) in der Registrierung abgelaufen und löst nun auf eine IP 91.195.240.12 auf.

You used to be able to just create a Native GUI App in 10 seconds. No Electron, no Game Engines, no Web frameworks. Just a lean fast .EXE produced in seconds. Works on any Windows machine WITHOUT Internet connection. Software Development is actually going backwards.

I used my usual "bulldozer" strategy this year too, which is way slower than tricks in some challenges. Luckily there is no shortcut in the last one so I caught up. I spent roughly $6 on something iykyk, and it probably contributed more raw power than myself in 5-9.😉 #flareon12
