I don’t think the United States should “sacrifice” Israel or the Gulf states on any kind of altar, but these are prosperous countries that could have been left to sort out their issues with Iran (and each other) on their own rather than us meddling counterproductively.

A Missouri pastor, Stephanie Remington, was suspended by the United Methodist Church in March 2026 after church officials learned she had previously worked for Jeffrey Epstein. Between 2018 and 2019, Remington was employed first as an administrative assistant and later as a temporary property manager on Epstein’s private island, Little St. James. The church stated it had not been informed of this past employment and suspended her for 90 days pending an internal investigation, citing expectations of transparency and ethical conduct for clergy. Remington has said her role was strictly professional and that she did not witness any abuse during her time working for Epstein, and there have been no criminal allegations made against her. An illegal immigrant El Salvadoran gang member in Maryland getting deported to El Salvador then repatriated back to the United States then, after being indicted in Tennessee for human trafficking and subsequently released back to Maryland, now awaiting deportation to Liberia of all places is just about the perfect microcosm of the immigration problem. Let in 10s of millions of illegals just by refusing to enforce border laws but to get just 1 of them out you need to spend millions of dollars and months or even years of legal wrangling just to dump them halfway around the world. This was false the first time you said it and it’s still false. The proposed legislation amounted to ratifying the open border. There was enormous Republican opposition in both the House and the Senate once the details became known. It would never have passed. The idea that this terribly flawed measure would have succeeded but for Trump’s opposition is a left wing fantasy. And there was no need for it. Trump shut the border by enforcing existing law. Indeed, the sharp drop in admission of illegals produced by the Biden Administration in the last half of 2024 (as the election approached) proves the point as well. They had the tools at hand. All they lacked was the will.

Illegals are arrested then brought to detention centers where they receive whatever due process is required. The average length of stay for people arrested by ICE is 42 days. What is the problem? These detentions are in accordance with US law. ICE doesn’t need reform. Democrats need to stop their campaign to obstruct ICE and prevent criminal aliens from being deported.

This is HORRIFYING and should scare all of us. ICE is holding people at secret locations for days. We’re demanding immediate answers and a top-to-bottom overhaul of ICE.

What is incredibly foolish is this Democrat doctrine that there needs to be an “imminent threat” before we can deal with our enemies. We were supposed to wait until the mullahs had nuclear weapons and were about to perfect a delivery system? Or vice versa? Then it could well have been too late. This version of the Democratic Party is too weak to defend the country.

I didn’t support Kent’s nomination. Yet I’m glad he is willing to acknowledge the truth – there was NO imminent threat to the United States, and this war was a terrible idea.   Even Trump’s greatest MAGA advocates can see this war is stupid, costly, and deadly. When will Trump?
