I have been living with a Tamil girl for the past two months. She rented a floor in my house, and we’ve developed a close bond. She can’t speak or understand Hindi, which is perfectly fine. One day, we were having a conversation, and she said she doesn’t like the attitude of Tamil Nadu politicians toward Hindi. I responded that I feel if South Indians don’t want to learn Hindi, it shouldn’t be forced on them. She then said that they don’t even allow those who willingly want to learn Hindi. To be honest, I find it hard to accept that there are people in Tamil Nadu who actually want to learn Hindi. Isn’t it hard to believe?

@RoseTint4 Maybe to befriend you she would have told you that. TBH no one cares what you learn what you don’t. May I ask you have you considered or learning Dutch? Why should always the host adjust why not you?

In 2023 house owner refused to renew the agreement as per the agreed 5% yearly hike instead asked for a whooping 60% hike for a 1000sq in Bangalore. 27k to 43k. Forced to look for other rental homes.

@PratyushaJS Why should one tell others what language to learn. There’s a reason why India doesn’t have any official language. And people learns whatever they prefer. If one sees advantage in learning a language they will do so. Problem is when someone shove their language on others.

@Balram1801 Airline can’t get away just like that. You should have done a small google search on your entitlement on this case. If the ticket is cancelled due to overbooking then the airline should arrange a new flight within an hour if not you are entitled to get 200% refund + new ticket
