Contemplative Wisdom என்று சொல்லுவார்கள். மானுட ஆழ் சிந்தனையில் உருவான கருத்தாக்கங்கள். இந்த கருத்தாக்கங்கள் சில ஆச்சரியமாக இருந்தாலும் அவற்றை அறிவியல் என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. காரணம் சிந்தனைகளில் நல்ல விஷயங்களும் வரும். மொக்கை விஷயங்களும் வரும். குரூர விஷயங்களும் வரும். தோற்றம் குறித்த அனுமானங்கள், அகிம்சை, என்று சில நல்ல விஷயங்களுடன் கூடவே சாதி, பிராமண உயர்வுவாதம், பெண்ணடிமைத்தனம், தலித் ஒடுக்குமுறை என்று பல குரூரங்களுக்கும் வேதிய பிராமணியம் காரணமாக இருந்திருக்கிறது. பண்டைய இந்தியா குறித்து சிலாகிப்பதில் இதுதான் பிரச்சினை. நான் அடிக்கடி எழுதுவது போல, ஓரளவுக்கு வாழ்வதற்குத் தகுதியானதாக பண்டைய இந்தியா இருந்தது இரு தரப்பினருக்கு மட்டும்தான்: பிராமணர்கள், சத்திரியர்கள். அதிலும் ஆண்கள்தான். மீதி அனைவருக்குமே இந்தியா ஏறக்குறைய நரகமாகத்தான் இருந்தது. அந்த நரகத்தில் இருந்து சும்மா ஒரு ஐந்தாறு பேர் ஏதோ ப்ரில்லியண்ட்டாக சொன்ன சில வரிகளை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு பேசுவதற்கு ஒன்று அறிவிலியாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அல்லது சிந்தனை முழுவதும் குரூரம் நிரம்பி இருக்க வேண்டும். அது ஒரு புறம் இருக்க, அறிவியல் குறித்து குருமூர்த்தி சொல்வதிலும் கூட அண்டா சைஸ் ஓட்டைகள் உள்ளன. உதாரணத்துக்கு ஐன்ஸ்டைன் தனது சமன்பாட்டில் செய்த தவறு பற்றிப் பேசுகிறார். அது cosmological constant எனும் ஒரு மாறிலியைக் கொண்டு வந்தது. அந்த மாறிலி குறித்து ஐன்ஸ்டைன் பேசும்போது 'Greatest blunder of my life' என்று சொன்னார். அது முப்பதுகளில். அப்போது கரும் ஆற்றல், Dark Energy, பற்றி யாருக்கும் தெரிந்திருக்கவில்லை. இன்று தெரியும். எனவே நவீன அறிவியல் அந்த மாறிலியை உள்வாங்கிக்கொண்டே இயங்குகிறது. அதாவது ஐன்ஸ்டைன் தவறு என்று சொன்னது தவறே அல்ல. ஐன்ஸ்டைன் சொன்ன அந்த வரி பற்றி நீல் டிக்ராஸ் டைசன் பேசுகையில் 'Einstein's greatest blunder was calling the formula a blunder in the first place!' ஆனால் இந்தப் பின்ணணி குறித்து எதுவுமே தெரியாமல் நியூட்டன் தப்பு செய்து விட்டார், ஐன்ஸ்டைன் தப்பு செய்து விட்டார். அந்தத் தப்புகளை எல்லாம் நமது பண்டைய ரிஷிகள்தான் வந்து சரி செய்து கொடுத்தார்கள் என்ற ரேஞ்சுக்கு குருமூர்த்தி. இடையில் பிக் பேங் நடந்த போது எழுந்த ஒலி 'ஓம்' போலக் கேட்டது, என்றும் சொல்கிறார். அதை நிரூபிக்க ஏதோ ஆடியோ போடுகிறார். ஏதோ சித்தார் ஒலி போலக் கேட்கிறது அது. பிக் பேங்க் நடந்த போது பண்டித் ரவிஷங்கர் அங்கே இருந்தாரா என்று தோன்றியது. சூரியனில் இருந்து வரும் ஒலியை நாசா ரெகார்ட் செய்திருக்கிறது. அது 'ஓம்' என்று கேட்கிறது, எனும் ஒரு போஸ்டரை முன்பு ஒரு முறை கிரண் பேடி பதிந்திருந்தார். அதைப் பலரும் கலாய்க்க ஆரம்பிக்கவே டிலீட் செய்து ஓடி விட்டார். ஐன்ஸ்டைனின் ரிலேட்டிவிடி தியரி குறித்த குறிப்புகள் ரிக் வேதத்திலேயே இருக்கின்றன என்று முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் ஹர்ஷவர்த்தன் ஒரு பேட்டியில் கூறி இருந்தார். இன்னும் சொல்லிக் கொண்டே போகலாம். பண்டைய இந்தியாவின் அறிவியல் திறமை பற்றி பாஜக, ஆர்எஸ்எஸ் ஆட்களின் உளறல்களைத் தொகுத்தால் ஆயிரம் பக்க புத்தகம் போடலாம். அந்த அளவுக்குப் போகவில்லை எனினும் எனது 'ஒரு செக்யூலரிஸ்டின் வாக்குமூலம்' புத்தகத்தில் ஒரு அத்தியாயம் முழுக்க அவை பற்றிப் பேசி, அவற்றின் அபத்தங்களை விளக்கி இருக்கிறேன்.
