Let me help you Fish longer Buy more boats Build a fleet Open a factory Move to the city Take the company public Make millions” The fisherman asks : “Then what?” “Then you can retire. Move to a small village. Fish a little. Spend time with your family. Relax.” The fisherman smiles He’s already there — For 25 years, we’ve been living the businessman’s plan The internet promised : More connection More leverage More knowledge More productivity And it delivered. But it also did something else : It consumed our attention Infinite scroll Endless notifications Algorithmic feeds Productivity theatre We optimized everything except peace We told ourselves we were “building.” But often we were just scrolling Now AI agents are arriving They promise to: • Draft your emails • Run your research • Book your travel • Automate your workflows • Make decisions for you They will give us time back Here’s the uncomfortable question : Did we ever need that time filled in the first place? If AI saves you 2 hours a day… Do you: • Start another project? • Launch another side hustle? • Consume more content? • Scale harder? Or do you finally log off? The fisherman didn’t need an IPO to enjoy his life. Maybe we didn’t need: • 24/7 connectivity • Infinite information • Constant stimulation • Relentless optimization Maybe we just forgot what “enough” feels like. AI could become the ultimate productivity machine. Or it could quietly remove the digital noise we normalized. The real opportunity isn’t doing more. It’s needing less. When AI gives you your time back… Will you build a bigger fleet? Or will you pick up the guitar? And yes I used Ai to help me construct this post
