Since the chargers funded under FAME policy by govt to OMCs are working so great, our govt has decided to provide them ₹503 crore more for installing 4,874 machines.
What an absolute waste of public funds. If govt really wanted to promote good EV Charging Infra they would open this incentive policy for all CPOs without any restrictive conditions on hardware and installation.

The @MHI_GoI has allotted INR 503 Crores (USD 50M) to setup 4874 chargers in India. The government owned entities have already setup 6150 chargers across India, of which 51.76% were not working during our survey in March 2026. In June 2025, @IndianOilcl had 3076 chargers as their installed base, with 96.81% not working. Come March 2026, IOCL has only 1211 chargers with a very humble 50.37% non working. We were not aware that the Oil PSUs can reduce the number of chargers installed on ground, while they are being allotted more money. The other PSUs like @BPCLimited & @HPCL are not any better with 68.94% and 28.89% non working chargers respectively. Where is the accountability? Where is the due diligence before our hard earned money is being used to fund extremely inefficient Public Sector Utilities? @nitin_gadkari @hd_kumaraswamy @narendramodi @HardeepSPuri @PrinSciAdvGoI - please justify I strongly recommend checking the situation on ground before applauding the government's support to PSUs like IOCL, BPCL and HPCL for EV Charging Infrastructure. US Market will fall soon?
People, who have missed the bus investing in the US Stock (especially AI trades) are now dearly wishing that the US market falls.
Please step back. And, analyze data.
1) QQQ has beaten NIFTY 50 on every single timeline now.
2) More importantly, this trend is accelerating.
When I was saying the same things 2 year back: I used to get a lot of social media bashing. Especially from Indian Fund Managers.
Now slowly, even Indian Funds are trying to launch US centric portfolios via GIFT city and whatnot.
While, this might not be the right time to "chase" the US markets.
You really need to change the thought process with which you approach equity investing.
Businesses are global.
So are stocks.
Indian market is great. Buy it when there is massive value. If you want to play the AI trades, US market still remains the #1 bet for investors.
The sooner you get this.
The better your outcomes would be.
If this decade is about AI, you are not too late.
You just need to find the next good point of entry.
