Seems @CSMIA_Official Airport is not up top today. A friend is passing through and sent this 1. Door security alarms going off at multiple arrival gates 2. Directional signage for immigration counters does not mention FTI-TTP 3. FTI-TTP worked only on the 4th attempt. First attempt scanner seemed defective. 2nd and 3rd attempts the camera refused to activate 4. Chaos at the transfer corridor, had to fight way through crowds waiting to transfer bags (I had no bags) 5. Confusing signage for Business Class security. The one sign as you come up (far right) does not state that is for international business class only, domestic on other end (far left) 6. Too many honking buggies 7. General shabby and dull appearance of carpets and overall 8. Icing on the cake: internet and UPI down throughout the terminal, so only cash payments are working

@Kenu73 Fee is okay, worst is their documentation, assuming everyone wants to enter and settle down in UK. They live in their own make believe world.

UK 6 months visa now costs 135 pounds from today which in INR will be 17,260. So a family of 4 from India will just pay 69k inr to just start their basic trip to UK 🇬🇧 Traveling to west keeps on getting expensive.

Berito Juraez Marg is such a mess. With colleges all along the road, South Campus, Springdale School & other institutes, road leading to underpass is in pathetic state. Half of the road width is covered by illegal parking, illegal vendors and balance road is always jammed. 1/2

Respectfully stating @NayabSainiBJP ji flooded drains and stagnant water in Gurugram are result of gross civic failures and haphazard urban development:reckless dumping of malba and construction debris into drains, open storage of sand and building materials on roads, blocked or poorly maintained drains, and the concretization of water bodies that reduces natural drainage. Asking whether the city will “swim or sink” during rains is a legitimate concern, not a reason to scold journalists. @Deaphen I have to fly to Manchester in the last week on @emirates . Not sure what to do with the bookings. War doesn't seem to end. Not sure if flight will take off. @emirates has already changed 380 to 777 due to longer duration of flight from DXB. Other airlines now charging a bomb.

I have to go to Namibia next week. Two options. 1. Ethiopian: 737-MAX (6.5 hour flight) + 787-8 with a 19 hour layover in ADD. 2. Emirates 77W + A380 to JNB + E190 to Namibia. Ethiopian downsides: 737 long haul / frequent equipment changes. Emirates downsides: War / extra stop in JNB. Ethiopian upsides: No war. Emirates upsides: 777 + 380 and almost certain F class upgrade with miles. Help me choose? Price is now almost same. @emirates @flyethiopian

@Deaphen @flyethiopian any day. They'll give you complimentary hotel stay for such a long layover in Addis. Better try to explore Addis as a city, if you have time...its a lovely place. Hospitality on Ethiopian is very very good. Try it, if you haven't yet. Cheers!!
