@RazorFist @drawandstrike It’s not just the Catholic Church, other major religious charities like Lutheran (Global Refuge), Protestant (Church World Service) and Jewish (HIAS) also get millions in federal refugee resettlement funds. Faith-based not small nonprofit, this is a big taxpayer-funded network.

Sorry, Leo. You'll have to fund your human trafficking operation with drug money like the rest of us.

BREAKING: Trump punishes Pope Leo for criticizing his Iran War by stripping $11 million from Catholic Charities in Florida that was supposed to help shelter and care for children who enter the country alone. Trump is terrorizing kids in America while killing them overseas... “The U.S. government has abruptly decided to end more than 60 years of relationship with Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Miami,” said Archbishop Thomas Wenski. “The Archdiocese of Miami’s services for unaccompanied minors have been recognized for their excellence and have served as a model for other agencies throughout the country.” "Our track record in serving this vulnerable population is unmatched. Yet, the Archdiocese of Miami’s Catholic Charities’ services for unaccompanied minors has been stripped of funding and will be forced to shut down within three months," he added. The Department of Homeland Security, through its Office of Refugee Resettlement, has paid Catholic Charities in Miami for years to help house children who enter the country without accompanying adults. The Miami Herald describes the program as essentially a "federally funded foster care system." Bishop Wenski said that despite there being a recent decrease in unaccompanied minors “it is baffling that the U.S. government would shut down a program that it would be hard-pressed to replicate at the level of competence." Robert Latham, associate director of the University of Miami Law School’s Children and Youth Law Clinic, said that the gutting of funding and possible need to move the children elsewhere could inflict serious damage on their developing psyches. "It’s incredibly psychologically harmful to be moved,” he said. “For little kids, moving repeatedly creates bonding issues and destroys the sense of both self and community. They don’t know who they are and where they will be." “This should only be done with a lot of emotional support that you normally would find within a family. Unfortunately, that is not there in a group home setting,” Latham added. Of course, Donald Trump couldn't care less about the suffering of children. This man was friends with Jeffrey Epstein for years and been accused of sexual abuse himself. He started his Iran War by blowing up a school full of little girls and his administration has worked around the clock to strip funding from programs that feed, educate, and house children. While the administration has not admitted that these funding cuts are payback against Pope Leo, the point A to point B is apparent. Trump is the most vindictive man to ever hold the presidency. He has been relentlessly attacking Leo for criticizing his Iran War. This is him using financial leverage in an effort to beat the Pope into submission. It will not work. Please ❤️ and share to demand that the funding be doubled when Democrats take back control!

@RazorFist Well he's right on politically. It's damn near impossible to defend Trump as rational person when acts out like that. Right or wrong people do get offended by this stuff, and those people are petty.

@abbythelibb_ This is untrue, the Church does NOT give a simple green light or absolute prohibition in the way people claim. Cite an actual document..

Apparently if you convert to Catholicism after creating embryos via IVF, the Catholic church tells you it's more sinful to implant them than to let them die or keep them frozen forever. This is a wicked teaching. Utterly incompatible with the pro-life position.

@ErinMc1013 @abbythelibb_ You've never heard it because the Church has never made such a claim. Her premise starts with a lie. She can't be bothered to see what the church officially says, which is that it is still unsettled and that it's "tragic moral dilemma with no clearly acceptable solution".

@abbythelibb_ Wow. I’ve never heard that, that’s ridiculous..I understand the moral and ethical dilemmas with IVF, a lot more now since I’ve gone through it, and I have found a lot of people will say it’s great my children are here, but it would’ve been better if they hadn’t been created (1)

@green_snowballs @RachelKloess @abbythelibb_ And you're arguing with a phantom position not held by the church. I'm trusting the moral approach of the church who had it right. It's position on IVF were difficult then and now. But people did not listen, we're now here with impossible task of untangling sin.

@green_snowballs @RachelKloess @abbythelibb_ How about you actually look up what the church actually says. Which it's "tragic moral dilemma with no clearly acceptable solution" it doesn't say that letting them die is the better option. Abby was lying about it's teaching from the beginning.

@vitaman_Steve @RachelKloess @abbythelibb_ Because the babies exist and Catholics would rather they die than let them have a mom and dad. That's negligent homicide. How can you claim to believe that life begins at conception if you don't allow rescuing embryos? If the problem is "ivf kills so many babies" the solution

@green_snowballs @RachelKloess @abbythelibb_ So this evil industry created about 5-10 Million babies globally left them in suspension and now puts the burden of doing immoral act on other's to fix the problem they created. The Catholics were right while the rest were asleep, and somehow were still the bad guys.

Can we all at least agree that “a whole civilization will die tonight” was far too broad a choice in words, and maybe “a whole regime” would have fit his intention better, or are we too deep into doublethink.

@ConceptualJames @CatholicCoupl You're not active in church life to make such claims. These aren't sleeper agents like you'd have us believe. Yes shepherding will be crucial. But these are genuine people who listen to Bible in a year. Word on fire and Accession, not the groypers.

I hope the Church is ready to engage and disciple these new converts all over the country. If they don't, they'll soon find they've allowed a great deal of entryism by dedicated schismatics and will set themselves up for decades of hurt… again.
