Cody is driving the piss out of the car this year. He is out driving Custer who's driving for a billion dollar corporation. Had a 6th taken away from him at Dega because of someone elses mistake. (Was at the front all day, not running extra laps, skipping tires, or because others were saving fuel.) Had a top 20 taken away today because someone else wrecked him, but because FOX didn't show a reply everyone is talking shit.
Everyone says they want the NASCAR of the 80's but don't root for the only teams left that resemble those days.
NASCAR charters will all be owned by Private Equity in the near future and you assholes will be crying for teams like RWR back when that happens, I can promise you that.
Theres only a handful of Michael Jordans in the world and the others aren't lining up to buy charters. How do you think these drivers will get the money to keep their teams.

Subtle reminders from Chief Johnson and CFD that public safety includes CFD. I expect City Council debate over the raise discrepancy between CMPD (10%) and CFD (7%). The city manager says CMPD is getting more because they struggle more with recruitment and retention than CFD. 186 or so CMPD vacancies compared to around 65 or so current CFD vacancies. Budget public hearing is tomorrow.

@VadimYuryev They didn’t kill the education discount. They put actual accountability on it….. with Id.me and the like this isn’t that hard. As someone that qualifies for it I would hope it would allow a larger discount for those that actually qualify by reducing fraud

Btw this also proves my prediction from last year that Apple would pull out ALL stops to battle memory crisis before actually raising Mac prices.
So far, they’ve killed off base storage models to help profit margins and killed off the education discount.

I finally have my wife open to pure EV for her next vehicle after almost 2 years with her plug in hybrid (which I am proud to say she plugs in religiously)
This new Lexus TZ sounded perfect, and then they dropped this 300 mile range dud with slow charging and fake engine noises

@wes_mur @RivianTrackr For sure. But the vast majority of the chargers on my routes are v3 superchargers. Well I guess that or Electrify American which work 25% of the time. Need IONNA to roll out more.

Rivian's software is just on another level compared to BMW, and honestly that alone is going to push a lot of people toward the R2.

@RivianTrackr I have considered, but my ideal IX3 spec puts me over $70k. I can get my ideal R2 spec under $70k. Charging speed & +400 range aren’t priorities for me compared to others. At the end of the day I feel Rivian’s software & future upgrade experiences will be better longterm.

@gschom @RivianTrackr You would want to avoid superchargers anyway since the speed would be significantly less due to Tesla’s unwillingness to move to 800V. This thing on an IONNA will crush

@RivianTrackr I just wish the charging port was rear drivers side instead of rear passenger. I road trip a decent amount in my R1S and charging at v3 Tesla superchargers (with the shorter cables) has been sometimes tricky. This will have the same issue but now you’ll also need to back in.

Interestingly, Tesla seems to be assembling a general contracting team to build out new Superchargers, instead of bidding out projects to other contractors.
Two Tesla Energy vans were on site when I got there. One with a California plate and the other with a Maryland plate.
