Whoever is making these decisions has never been a 13 year old girl with a heavy period and the attendant pain and diarrhoea that can come with it. Sorry to be indelicate, but having been that teen girl I can't imagine the misery of having all that going on while a group of lads stood outside. The ones I went to school with would never have let it go. I'm sure plenty of boys don't like this either. Here is how I currently see the most recent ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis, while keeping in mind that many details are still unknown or very fuzzy. To ME, it appears that during a ground scuffle, an ICE/Border Patrol agent saw the man’s gun and took it, possibly while yelling "Gun!" (as heard on video) to alert other officers about the gun's existence. This may have prompted other officers to start yelling "Gun!" One agent seemingly panicked, drew his weapon, and began shooting, perhaps assuming that all the yelling about a gun meant the man was actively trying to shoot other officers when in fact he may already have been disarmed. If that interpretation is correct, this would clearly be an unjustified shooting, resulting from negligent communication by ICE/Border Patrol. The officer who fired should be held accountable. At the same time, this kind of miscalculation during a highly tense confrontation would likely never have occurred if the armed man had not resisted arrest and engaged physically with agents. If you are carrying a firearm and officers are trying to apprehend you, you follow their instructions, put your hands up, and immediately inform them that you are armed so there are no surprises. This is not an attempt to justify the shooting. Far from it. But simply a reminder that many of these risky moments are completely avoidable if people simply refrain from confronting law enforcement or resisting arrest. Just stay home and let ICE officers do their job. Things are still unclear, and we must wait for more evidence before drawing any hard conclusions. There must be a thorough, transparent investigation into what happened.

He has terrible shoveling form and it's just really inneficient. So if he has to do that for an appreciable time it's not gonna work because he's using all the wrong muscle groupings.
