@JHLichtmanLaw @Claire_V0ltaire @magi_jay @nikitabier so wht happened to this? was it just a bluff, or found not legal? "In March, the US Department of Justice seized four web domains associated with Handala target lists and information dumps, alleging that the organization was a front for Iranian cyber warfare."

@Claire_V0ltaire @magi_jay @nikitabier This platform has enabled the rapid spread of Jew hate through Muslim/leftist propaganda since Oct 7. I don’t think any social network is more responsible for the massive uptick in Jew hate than X. This hit list is just par for the course.

@nlpandstuff for me, I find it hard to tell if it is a hatred or a hobby tbh I could understand completely if it was a person from the W. Bank, Gaza or pre-48. But these other people haven't thought it through, it seems.

@yosmin144 I suspect so, but I wonder how far it goes. Is the hatred of Israel so high that it overrides every single other professed priority?

The original Abraham Accords members joined during a time of transition in the region, there was some instability but in 2020 it’s worth recalling there was Covid and also a sense that the post-ISIS region would lead to a shift. It grew out of years of slow shifting positions. Recall the Qatar crisis in 2020 etc Hamas seemed isolated at the time. Assad regime was back. But there was chance for ceasefire in Yemen. A lot of changes. This is why Bahrain and the UAE moved forward, with incentives and positive backing from the U.S; it’s a different era now; more skepticism. Can it happen? Yes, anything can happen. But it’s worth examining the changes in the region.

@JadSMor @agingroy People who use statins are well advised beforehand. is it bad that WSJ is getting the word out about this? More info is better.

I’m not saying that you’re wrong but there is a little more nuance here. You can come off blood pressure medicine in many cases with time and successful lifestyle modifications. Statins have an incredible safety profile. GLP-1s are phenomenal drugs but while I’ve never seen anyone hospitalized for statin side effects, I have seen 4 patients hospitalized for GLP1 pancreatitis, and 2 for severe gastroparesis over the last 4 years.

Stop a statin and your LDL cholesterol rises 30% in four days. Nobody writes a WSJ feature about it. Stop certain blood pressure medications and your BP can spike within hours. Nobody calls it a design flaw. Levothyroxine, antidepressants, insulin, metformin, antihistamines. Chronic treatments for chronic conditions, and all of them stop working when you stop taking them. None of them generate think-pieces questioning whether patients should have started. The AMA classified obesity as a disease in 2013. Thirteen years later, it’s still the only chronic condition where “you have to take it forever” is framed as an argument against treatment rather than a description of how medicine works.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

While nearly 18% of U.S. adults have taken a GLP-1 drug for weight loss or to treat a chronic condition, about half of people will stop taking it within a year. Often, they don’t understand what is likely to come next. 🔗: on.wsj.com/4dCkbia

Heavy lifts ahead indeed. Trump's 4 step model: 1. Negotiate: A vague document [20 in Gaza; XX in Iran] 2. "It's on me": Ceasefire for [hostages in Gaza; Hormuz in Iran] 3. "Not my job": Details later [disarmament, governance, reconstruction in Gaza; nuks, missiles, proxies in Iran] 4. "MIA": Clocks tick for next round [here and there], he is already in Cuba, Greenland, etc. haaretz.com/opinion/2026-0…

@JachnunEmpire I disagree. Ignore the hateful replies- many more people read it than replied; there is no better opportunity to set the record straight. Especially when it comes from a person of authority such as Amir Tibon who lived that reality. It could be any kibbutz, really.

This is the tweet Amir is replying to. While his response is admirable, it also highlights a crucial misunderstanding that exists among much of the political left-wing in Israel. The person he’s replying to, and people who retweet this, think all of Israel is illegitimate. Nothing you say or do will convince them otherwise and they’re the same people who rejoiced while our family and friends’ blood was being spilled on October 7th.

This is not a settlement, it's a community within the internationally recognized borders of Israel. Out of the 450 people in this community, 16 were murdered on Oct7, another 8 were kidnapped into Gaza, and everyone lost their homes. Before Oct7, people in this community regularly volunteered to drive Palestinian cancer and diabetes patients from Gaza to Israeli hospitals. 85% of the residents voted against the Netanyahu government in the last Israeli election. You can read and educate yourself instead of posting embarrassing stuff like this. hachettebookgroup.com/titles/amir-ti…

As a politician, his party represents about 6% of the electorate (closer to 10% now according to polls btw). As Minister of Police, he represents 100% of the Israeli state. I didn't make the rules.
Corey Walker 🇺🇸@CoreyWriting

Gvir's party represents maybe like 6% of the electorate, and he's not representative of Israeli society writ large. However, Netanyahu appointed him and therefore he harmed the nation's reputation for personal gain.
