INTERESTING: the 6 MPs who are defecting from Shiv Sena (UBT) are to be provided enhanced Y plus security by the Govt . So first you defect from the party on whose symbol you were elected, then you get ‘rewarded’ with extra security. All of course on tax payers expense!! Yeh hai Bharat ki rajneeti ka kamaal!😡

IMPORTANT : cross voting in Jharkhand Rajya Sabha elections sees Parimal Nathwani, Reliance executive backed by NDA win the election. Congress loses out, says RJD and CPI (ML) cross voted. INDIA alliance in Delhi, private ‘deals’ in states? Interestingly, this is the fourth consecutive time Nathwani is being elected to Rajya Sabha: he was even a YSRCP nominee once. In Indian politics, party labels change, but access to power never goes out of fashion for those with links to big corporates. 🙏

Over the next few days, I will be in France and Slovakia to attend various programmes, including bilateral talks, multilateral engagements and interaction with the Indian diaspora. The focus will be on boosting economic as well as cultural linkages. The visit will begin with programmes in Nice, notably ‘Bharat Innovates’, in which President Macron will be present. As India and France are marking the ‘India-France Year of Innovation’, ‘Bharat Innovates’ will be a vibrant platform that brings together innovators, StartUps and those related to the world of innovation. In Nice, I will also hold talks with President Macron, where we will review the India-France Special Global Strategic Partnership. @EmmanuelMacron nm-4.com/RQc2Qd

India has got a wonderful Prime Minister, caring, loving and supportive There is no one like Modi- The heat has increased a lot, so everyone should drink plenty of water. India’s great Prime Minister Modi held a high-level meeting yesterday. In the meeting, he called all the MPs and ministers. The entire country was expecting that, with the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and CNG, increasing inflation, and the difficult situation faced by poor people, small business owners, street vendors, and rickshaw pullers, the government would announce some relief measures or make an important decision. But the interesting part is that Prime Minister Modi told his MPs and ministers: “The heat has increased a lot, so all of you should drink more water.” And then the meeting ended. Tell me, can there be a more caring Prime Minister anywhere? In a high-level meeting, he is advising his MPs and ministers to drink plenty of water. Now wait and watch. Today they are asking people to drink more water. India was already mixing 20% ethanol in petrol, and now the government plans to increase it to 30%. Slowly, after some time, they may even say, “Please drink less water too, we need it to produce ethanol.” Now it is becoming clear why the great Prime Minister does not hold press conferences. He probably knows that he may not be able to answer even five serious questions. If questions are asked about development, education, national security, healthcare, and corruption, then he himself might need to drink plenty of water.

Stick to the real issues- unemployment, inflation, paper leaks, collapsing education, farmers’ distress and women’s safety… not Instagram followers and bot competitions. BJP and its entire B-team ecosystem have successfully turned India from a country discussing real problems into a nonstop internet circus of trends, propaganda and manufactured sensations. While people fight for paper leak, jobs and survival, politics has been reduced to reels, PR & Bots battles.

The complete dewatering of Swami Vivekanand Sarovar #BandraTalao @mybmcWardHW has now exposed some uncomfortable truths - exactly the concerns repeatedly raised earlier. The emptied talao clearly shows there is no major sewerage connectivity flowing into the lake from surrounding areas, despite this being used as one of the justifications for costly interventions. What is now visible is equally important, the natural springs remain active even after complete dewatering, with water still percolating into the talao. This raises serious concerns, during desilting and dredging, what safeguards exist to protect these natural springs?? Any damage could permanently alter the talao’s ecology and even risk drying up this historic water body in future. If sewer inflow was not the real issue, was an expensive Sewerage Treatment Plant even required ? The declining water quality perhaps had more to do with decades of stagnation and lack of continuous aeration/oxygenation. Could sustained aeration have solved the issue at one-third the cost ? Sadly @mybmc often appears more focused on awarding big-ticket contracts than practical, sustainable solutions. Bigger question is after completion, who will maintain and operate this STP ?? Given @mybmc @mybmcInfra poor maintenance track record, will this become yet another expensive white elephant funded by taxpayers ?? Mumbaikars deserve answers. All these concerns were repeatedly raised... #Bandra #BandraTalao #Mumbai #BMC
