@chiragbarjatya Totally valid points. E30 still not rolled out so not sure what will happen there. Older vehicles harm claims are not verified yet, only comes up randomly on social media. Premium petrol should be available more understood. What about alternate fuels? Y everyone wants petrol

With respect to running cost, E85 flex fuel is a sophisticated scam. On E85, your monthly fuel bill will increase, not decrease. Here's the simplified math. Assuming your car delivers 15 kmpl on average, on E85 flex fuel, you'll pay about Rs. 7.45 per km, which is significantly more than E20 petrol's Rs. 6.85 per km. At current prices. That's not all. 1. You're likely to pay about 70k to 1 lakh more for the 'privilege' of using E85 flex fuel as flex fuel cars will be pricier. Well, the recently launched Hero Splendor Flex Fuel is about 5,000 rupees pricier than the non-flex fuel version. This translates to a 7 percent price increase. On a 10 lakh rupee car, it'll be a whopping Rs. 70,000. Higher EMI: Check. 2. If you do end up buying a flex fuel vehicle by paying extra, and don't find a bunk dispensing flex fuel, you're basically screwed from both sides. In effect, you'll own a vehicle that's pricier and ready to run flex fuel without access to flex fuel. So, best approach: wait and watch before buying that flex fuel equipped vehicle. Don't buy until availability of flex fuel increases to a point where you need not worry about where to refuel. 3. To make flex fuel attractive, govt may load extra taxes on E20. Again, a scam at your expense. There's no other way to account for a straight 30 percent drop in energy content. Irony of it all: E20 petrol suddenly looks like gold thanks to flex fuel. PS: It's already happening. The govt has slashed excise duty on higher ethanol blends. The idea is to offer lower prices for higher blends and tempt the common man. Most people, unknowingly, will go for lower priced fuels, damaging their vehicles' engines in the longer term. Good for making them upgrade to newer cars/motorcycles. What a beautiful idea. @CarToq brings you the math behind why your fuel bill will go up at current prices. cartoq.com/car-life/e85-f…

A high-level auto industry source told me that all companies are under strict instructions from the Govt. to keep silent on the issues being caused due to Ethanol. Similar pressure on auto publications and journalists to not reveal the true state of affairs.
Rattan Dhillon@ShivrattanDhil1

There are roughly 100 influential automotive journalists in India who help shape public opinion and the direction of the auto industry. Yet not one of them is seriously questioning ethanol blending, E85, isobutanol in diesel, or the long-term impact these policies may have on consumers. The silence is deafening. Why? Because speaking against powerful interests comes at a cost. I have experienced it myself. When I criticized Mahindra, people connected to the company started making inquiries about me, my earnings, and even attempted to influence me. Now there are efforts to pursue defamation claims. When I spoke about Tata’s vehicles, I was subjected to personal attacks, and event invitations for my team were affected. Recently, after posting a video about ethanol, I received pressure and threats that ultimately led to the video being taken down. This is why I openly say that much of the automotive media ecosystem is compromised. Paid promotions, paid tweets, and sponsored narratives are far more common than people realize. I know how these systems work, and I believe that is one of the reasons why very few are willing to speak critically about ethanol-related policies. The reality is that millions of consumers will be affected by these decisions. Don’t wait for journalists to be your voice people must speak for themselves. As for me, I will continue to ask questions and share my views. I have never done paid posts, and I never will. No amount of pressure, influence, or money will change that! 🙏🏻

Dear Indians. Your NRI relatives are not delivery boys and India is not South Sudan. Do not ask for shoes, iPhones, chocolates, lavda, lehsun. You get all of those in India. And if you don't, live without them. Dear NRIs. Your Indian relatives, and especially your aged parents, are not delivery boys and you made a conscious choice to leave India and settle abroad. Do not ask for Chitale bakwarwadi, or bhajaneecha peeth, or Bedekar pickle, or Kal Nirnay or 5 pocket Bhagwad Gitas. You get most of that in US and if you don't, live without them. @amazon @amazonIN @AmazonHelp @jagograhakjago

🚨 Important Information Cybercrime victims will no longer need to visit multiple offices or banks to recover their frozen funds. The Ministry of Home Affairs (I4C) has officially launched the new "Money Restoration Module" (MRM) under the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP). Citizens can now file their refund requests directly from the comfort of their homes. *🔹 Key Eligibility & Legal Guidelines:* *1️⃣ This portal (MRM) is strictly for victims who registered their complaint immediately via the 1930 Helpline or the NCRP portal and possess a 14-digit Registered Acknowledgement Number.* *2️⃣ This module applies ONLY to cases where the defrauded money has been successfully 'Held' (Frozen) in the scammer's bank account.* *⚠️ Important Note: This portal cannot process refunds if the criminals have already withdrawn or siphoned off the cash from the bank accounts.* *⚖️ Categorized Rules for Fund Refund:* *To ensure total transparency, the refund process is divided into three distinct legal categories based on the frozen amount:* *Category 1 (Up to ₹50,000 frozen in a single bank account): If the held amount is up to ₹50,000 in one bank account, NO FIR or Court Order is required. The money will be refunded directly based on the Police Report/Indemnity Bond via the MRM portal.* *Category 2 (Total amount exceeds ₹50,000, but is less than ₹50,000 per individual bank account): If the total frozen amount is more than ₹50,000 but distributed across different bank accounts (and does not exceed ₹50,000 in any single bank account), NO FIR or Court Order is required. A swift refund will be processed based on the police report.* *Category 3 (More than ₹50,000 frozen in a single bank account): If the held amount exceeds ₹50,000 in a single bank account, lodging an FIR (First Information Report) is mandatory under the rules. Once the FIR is registered, the entire remaining legal refund process will be completed through this MRM portal.* *💻 Online Application Process (5 Simple Steps):* 🔹 Step 1: Visit the official portal: mrm-ncrp.mha.gov.in *🔹 Step 2: Click on 'Citizen Login' and log in using the mobile number registered in your original NCRP complaint via OTP.* *🔹 Step 3: Go to 'Raise Refund Request', enter your 14-digit Complaint ID, and verify it with the OTP. The frozen amount will automatically display on the screen.* *🔹 Step 4: Upload your PAN Card and enter the Bank Account Number and IFSC Code of the bank account where you wish to receive the refund.* *🔹 Step 5: Tick the declaration checkbox and click Submit. Save the Unique Request ID (MR2026...) generated to track your application status.* *👮 Legal Action by Police:* *After the victim submits the request, the designated police team will upload the required Indemnity Bond/Notice on the portal as per the legal provisions of Section 106(3) BNSS. Following this, the concerned bank will restore the funds directly to the victim's bank account. *📢 : If you face any technical difficulties while generating the request, a step-by-step 'User Manual Guide' is available for download on the official link. *👉 Beware of Middlemen: This entire process is 100% free, secure, and transparent. Never pay money to any unauthorized individual promising a refund.* *👉 Help Desk Support: If you encounter any persistent errors while filling out the online form, visit your nearest police station or the district Cyber Cell for free assistance.* In case of cyber fraud, immediately Call the 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in #CyberAwareness #MRMPortal #I4C #MHA #CyberSecurity

The charger upgrade! Was charging my cars with 3.3 kw chargers and almost did 2L + kms on it Now thought for an upgrade so after discussion with many enthusiasts finalised to make it future proof by installing a 22kw AC charger #brightblu was the one to be relied on after all research and @TeslaClubIN helped in the finalisation The combination of the hardware and software is the best part all control through the app which works via Bluetooth/wifi Why 22kw it’s because I don’t want to buy chargers for every car instead keep it future proof that’s a 32 amp 3 phase charger can charge from 2.2-22kw as u desire Installation & Commissioning Tried to do it myself with 2 other local guys and could complete it made it look complete wireless as I imagined on the attached pic made a black enclosure to hang the charger so it looks neat Already had a panel box at garage so the connection was pending laid the wires within sand to dissipate the heat ! Hope it works ! And finally it was done with a great success @evelectree @Xroaders_001 @Shaggy7979 @TeslaClubIN @ferrarirules86 @EVZindabad @GreenDrvIndia @Gs_Wanderer @shyampsunder @ExpWithEVs @pranavjindal999

With all the E20 Petrol now across India, noticing some issues in not so older cars, yes cars sold in the last 2-3 years are E20 compliant, but what about older cars @volklub Is the Govt indirectly telling users not to buy Petrol cars as of now? I have moved to EVs but reality is not everyone can do that and when ppl buy cars and keep them for 10-12 years so why force E20 Petrol on cars that are not designed for that engine, won’t it degrade those vehicles.
