Product wise, I don’t think Zuck has successfully built anything since the original FB (once you exclude acquisitions).

This is 100% correct. The right customer segment just needs to age into the OSA disease category, and we’re getting pretty close. 3-5 years this will explode. @BreatheNSleepMD @schopsss are building that size company is my bet. @AndrewDudum knows all about this area btw🤣

.@davidmaris says sleep is a billion-dollar opportunity for $HIMS and nobody on Wall Street has priced it in: "I haven't seen any sell-side report talk about the sleep opportunity. And to me that's another billion-dollar opportunity for them. I think it's just a home run for them." "[Medical supply companies and sleep centers] argue that you need to have the mask fitted, and they will say, oh, well this machine might be better for you than this other machine. And to me it's all BS. 98% of it's BS." "Because they're getting another fee for this. You don't know what payments they're getting on the backend for saying this machine's better than that machine. There's no transparency." "If $HIMS is interested in helping patients and making this transparent, they would say, look, we have these two machines, these three machines, five machines, whatever. We're gonna sell it to you at cost plus, we're gonna deliver it to your house." "You don't have to go anywhere. So you've taken away all this friction and you're also getting an older patient. It's another great patient pool. So I think this is a great way to revolutionize the sleep area."

11/ Most startups have the data they need, but it’s locked across too many platforms. Supper connects existing data sources and answers questions in natural language, in real time - turning scattered data into collective knowledge. We’re excited to partner with Lowell Putnam and @AndySalamon as they turn locked up data into collective knowledge. blog.usv.com/turning-locked…

@LouStagner There is a mathematical answer to this. I considered two cases. A golfer with SD of scores being 5.0 strokes. Second a golfer with SD of 2.0 strokes. In former case its 11.3%. In latter case its 4.9%.

This one WILL surprise you. For players with an index of 1.0 to +1.0 What percent of their 18-hole rounds are under par? 🤔🤔🤔

@InnocenceCapit1 @johndog68 Haven’t played NGLA but have played fishers, and lots of the macraynors. Yale could be really really good, maybe top 3. Definitely top 5. Probably won’t be the incredible “membership” deal I had when I lived in the area a loooong time ago.

@johndog68 i have said from the beginning that a fully restored yale should take its' rightful place in the top 15 or so courses in the United States. and it might be the best macraynorbanks aside from NGLA (I haven't played fishers yet) played it probably ~20 times over ~20 years

@dampedspring I’ve tried bringing this up with boomers a few times recently - hasn’t gone well. Also there’s not much to be done on a micro-level (give away their house?), so maybe it’s not worth talking about in any case.

My mother hosted a family reunion recently which I attended. Largely older folks than me I'm early Gen X and the guests were boomer and silent. They had zero understanding that they have stolen their standard of living from the future and were quite pissed that I told them so. I'm super fun at parties as you might imagine.

I've never seen things go well for folks taking enough risk on their overall portfolio to experience a 3 digit percentage return in a year let alone in a month week or day. If you have, thats super awesome and you should seriously consider lowering your risk today. I've also rarely seen things go really bad for those who diversify and remain passive and set their risk tolerances at mid teens - twenties annual returns EVEN when a small portion of there book experiences a 3 digit return.

Remember that current consensus expectations are for this suite of tariff policies to be reversed within a few weeks. That's the only thing limiting bigger declines right now. If the market believes they'll be around for longer, there is a lot of room for repricing lower.
