What if you can do recursive speculative decoding models where 1T starts you off with a few good words in good direction then 600B model takes over, then 200B, 27B and 7B, so then after a few phrases you go up a level to check agreement etc. And latents can share (same base)?
Daniel Isaac@danpacary

I got a 1T (trillion) parameter model running on my MacBook Pro. Kimi-K2. 1.029T params. ~1 TB raw weights. 524 GB converted. ~1.7 tok/s. Yesterday it was 671B. Today it's 1T. Same laptop. Same M4 Max. No cloud. When I say we: I mean Claude and me.

Just was contacted by a big GOP donor wondering why the Senate would go on recess when the DHS isn’t funded & there’s no clear plan to pass the SAVE America Act. I hope our Republican Senate realizes: if you don’t pass the SAVE America Act, you will lose the majority.

4DGS360: 360° Gaussian Reconstruction of Dynamic Objects from a Single Video TL;DR: 4DGS360 for 360° reconstruction of dynamic objects from a single video, and introduce iPhone360, a new monocular 4D dataset for evaluation at extreme novel views. Contributions: – We propose 4DGS360, which employs a novel 3D-native initialization method based on AnchorTAP3D, enabling consistent 360° dynamic reconstruction from monocular video. – We present iPhone360 dataset, a new dataset that captures real-world dynamic objects with various scenarios. Test cameras are placed up to 135° apart from training views enabling evaluation of models under extreme novel-view conditions. – Our approach achieves state-of-the-art performance both qualitatively and quantitatively under ordinary and extreme novel-view synthesis conditions

The Republicans are finally reading the Save Act and finding out that the Red States are the ones where the Save Act will end up hurting the most since they have the lowest Passport ownership!

@Teknium the /browser needs a persistent version as many tasks require user to see what is going on and especially see the result at the end. currently i have to make custom skills to save a special chrome user profile to keep session logins between runs and it has to know to run as nohup

Hermes Agent v0.4.0 — 300 merged PRs this week. Biggest release we've done. Background self-improvement, OpenAI Responses API endpoint for your agent, new messaging platforms, new providers, MCP server management, and a lot more.

The SAVE America Act debate has made one thing crystal clear: Democrats’ rhetoric is completely out of step with what most Americans support. Providing proof of citizenship and showing a photo ID to vote is just common sense.

API Server with Responses API Hermes can now act as an OpenAI-compatible backend — any frontend (Open WebUI, LobeChat, LibreChat, ChatBox, etc.) can connect to it. Exposes both /v1/chat/completions and /v1/responses (stateful, with previous_response_id chaining). Full agent stack behind the API: tools, skills, memory, cron.

@mgubrud @MaMoMVPY They still can't acquire knowledge. They can pull info from web searches into their context window but as soon as their context window needs to be compacted they forget it. That's only one of their shortcomings but it's a serious one. We'll get there eventually but not yet.

A year ago Jensen was a completely reasonable sounding CEO. Now he and the rest of the AI CEOs are just making up obvious fantasies about the state of AI. We have not achieved AGI. He knows that we are nowhere near that.
Yuchen Jin@Yuchenj_UW

Jensen: “I think we’ve achieved AGI.” “It’s not out of the question that an OpenClaw could create a web service or some interesting little app that, all of a sudden, a few billion people use for 50 cents.”

@Teknium "volume of code" haha. so that's where bloat comes from. "volume shipped" as a metric.

I think the claw is getting nervous. They're comparing the entire weight of openai engineers against us to claim bloat == value
Vincent Koc@vincent_koc

@cocktailpeanut The total volume of code shipped in Hermes we shipped in less than 1 release. Just sayin.

This behavior will multiply and magnify more violently with the rise of Humanoid robots. The new underclass and the recipient of all anger of job loss in the unstable Interregnum period. Roaming Luddite gangs looking for “justice”. It will be a tuff time in human history.

"122B has to be smarter than 27B" I showed 4 UI components to three Qwen3.5 models and asked them to recreate them from a screenshot alone: - 27B (dense) - 35B-A3B (MoE) - 122B-A10B (MoE) Same screenshot. Same prompt. Same task. Which one do you think nailed it?

@BrianRoemmele I think he's right. we can now create agents and robots which if their environment is favorable enough can continue to exist and adapt to new challenges and interact intelligently with their environment and improve themselves. That said hermes is better than openclaw

@sleitnick showing you are qualified to vote is not a poll tax, any more than asking a 10 year old to prove their 18 is a 'poll tax'

@AwokeKnowing I know that I am fine here, but my concern is for those around me who are not yet registered to vote, and are informed that their Real ID does not qualify. Documents like passport or birth cert cost money if you don't have one / expired / lost it. Which is implicitly a poll tax

> Forced to get a "Real ID" drivers license, which required tons of documents. > They're not valid proof of citizenship. > SAVE Act is trying to prevent voting without proof of citizenship. This feels malicious. Am I missing something?

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
