Healthcare is the only profession where people expect and demand mid-6-figure salaries as a baseline *for everyone.* In law, finance, sales, everyone rightfully assumes that such salaries are for the top performers or those working for top firms. Only in healthcare in America is it considered insulting to pay a nurse practitioner less than $250,000 regardless of location or workload. And they always must get overtime, something that was once reserved for hourly workers.

I will say as someone who is very against pumping up Tesla, FSD is WAY smoother and makes me feel much safer. We took a ride in LA in a Waymo and it stopped in the middle of a six lane roadway trying to pull out and instead just froze. It was terrifying and thankfully the other cars stopped in time.

@rhensing I’ve taken several Waymo rides in Los Angeles and they were flawless. I’ve yet to ride in an unsupervised Robotaxi because they don’t exist in Los Angeles.

If you think Waymo is ahead of Tesla in autonomy because of some arbitrary metric like “rides given” you’re a moron.

Hit our 1k mile FSD streak on our trip from Oregon Coast to LA! It took an immense amount of patience as this version loves to circle parking lots forever and didn’t know how to get to its own chargers a few times.

@scottbuscemi @Tesla_AI On a road trip from Portland to LA right now, it drove right by the superchargers and decided to go through a sketchy campground instead doing loops around the place until we told it to pull over and drove ourself to the chargers🤦🏼‍♂️

No idea how folks avoid interventions. @Tesla_AI FSD wanted to park next to a woman with her car door open holding a baby … rather than the fully empty spot next to it. Silly.

@thedooberhead Nav is truly horrendous. Half our routine road trip to the coast where our fam lives, navigation insists the speed limit is 30-40mph even though it’s 55mph the whole time, really pisses off others behind us as it’s a single lane highway.

Prime example of why an FSD streak is impossible without wasting my time. Also, another example of how NAV has inexplicably gotten worse. A route I took everyday is no longer recognized.

My first Summon on Cybertruck, I sent it down a dead end, then I summoned it back. Instead of doing a multi-point turn, it perfectly backed into a parking spot in between 2 vehicles and then pulled forward to complete the turn. Much improved from summon on the Y in the old days.
