In April 2026, we acquired an approximately 1.9% equity interest, comprising of 45,454,545 newly issued ordinary shares, in Yoda PLC (CSE: YODA), a Cyprus-listed investment company. Yoda PLC's portfolio is focused on shipping investments in the LNG and container sectors, real estate and other participations including healthcare. The shares were subscribed at €1.10 per share for total cash consideration of €50.0 million (approximately $58.6 million).

LOL $DAC has now invested in Yoda, which of course is a large owner of $CCEC. Spent $58M

It’s expensive, underpowered, the materials are behind the competition, software is lagging behind. But this is a car I absolutely love. The seating position, the way it handles, the huge amount of usable space. A true guilty pleasure.

@breadandposes Won’t happen. There’s no electric solution for a big container ship.

I suspect we will see a pivot to electric container ships. If you're China and you have a container ship bottleneck in your delivery pipeline for your exports and are building battery packs specifically designed to standardised container dimensions then why wouldn't you?

@Wexboy_Value Delisting because they think is undervalued seems a bit of a dodgy reason though. Keep executing and do some buybacks when profit allows, not that difficult is it!

@Wexboy_Value Yeah I think they usually buy a huge chunk cheaply after the drop to get more votes but 75% of the votes is easy to get when retail don’t bother voting (or sell on the announcement). It can be quite hard to vote with some providers too.

@realroseceline @adrewrogers The aggressive buybacks will continue to be a tailwind if the business is stable at these levels (it doesn’t need to grow or could even shrink slightly) as long as it doesn’t drop off a cliff like is being priced in.

@LimitingThe I agree with every other company on here being absolutely absurd, but Novonix not only has a legitimate product but their product line is awesome. With that said, I haven’t looked at their financials and don’t know if this entity just covers their graphite production spin out.

🚨WARNING🚨 Just like around 2020, low market cap battery stocks are getting pumped again. I'm seeing it across a range of companies. The investor bases are getting absolutely masturbatory, and each of them thinks that their company is going to become the next killer battery. Nothing has changed in the battery technology space in the past couple of years to justify this. What we're seeing is just the next wave of fools getting separated from their money. It's an investing phenomenon rather than a technology phenomenon. I don't know if it's going to keep going to the ridiculous levels that we saw 4 or 5 years ago, but it smells the same. So be aware that, in my opinion, this is more like a trading situation rather than a value investor situation. As always, not financial advice and do your own research.
