A thick, gelatinous crust covered the motherboard. I asked what it was. They swore they didn't know. I pulled up their chat logs from yesterday where they said they dropped a full jar of artisanal kombucha on their Dell. I closed the laptop. Marked the ticket as biohazard. Sent them a link to the employee handbook section on property destruction. My SLA remains perfect. Their laptop remains dead.
